Impressive figure and a great value
I have been a collector of action figures since my childhood in the 80s. At this point, it takes a lot to impress me. ZD Toys has managed to do it. The Mark 39 (aka Starboost, aka Gemini) was probably my favorite armor of the "Hall of Armors" or "Iron Legion" from Iron Man 3. I loved the design, the textures, the color scheme. Unfortunately, no one has really made toys of it. There was a Lego minifigure and a Hot Toys high end collectible, but that was about it. Comicave Studios announced a 1:12 figure of this armor several years ago, but it was canceled. Hasbro made a figure of the space armor from the Avengers video game, but it's not really the same design, doesn't look as good, and the figure was pretty weak. Like I said, I've been collecting figures for decades. While I buy plenty of mass retail figures, it's more about having characters I like than the figures themselves being really good. For really nice figures, I'll get SH Figuarts or Mafex, but those are expensive and getting more so all the time. Ideally, I'd have liked to be able to integrate this figure into my existing Iron Man collection, but I knew going in this was 1:10 scale, not 1:12, so it would be bigger and stand out if I tried. I can't hold that against the figure, but it's something to be aware of if you're hoping to just slot ZD Toys figures into your existing Marvel Legends collection to fill in the gaps of armors Hasbro never made. I've included a photo of how it scales with Marvel Legends (and SH Figuarts, just for the heck of it, though SHF runs smaller than ML, being a true 1:12 scale versus Hasbro's "heroic" 1:12 scale). It might look okay with Marvel Selects, which run bigger than Legends, but I don't have any of those on hand to compare it to. The box is nice, compact, and sturdy (a good thing, since Amazon just shoved it into a bubble mailer. A collectible like this should be packaged more securely, but the box protected the contents with only minimal corner bashing). The box features a flap with magnetic closures and some nice, clean graphics. The first production run of this figure featured an error in the text, labeling this the Mark XXIX, which would be 29. The one I got has a corrected identifier of XXXIX. Once you open the flap, the figure is displayed in a tray in all its glory. Lift that out, and there's another tray underneath, which holds all the accessories. There's a generic display stand, which features a graphic of the movie's logo, but doesn't actually identify the armor model. The stand comes in 3 pieces that connect together easily. There's a base (barely wider than the figure, so it won't chew up excess room on your shelf), a jointed arm, and a spring-loaded clamp to hold the figure in place. The figure stands pretty well on its own, but having this included to keep it upright, or to help with more extreme poses, is definitely a plus. The figure comes with 4 pairs of hands, including the ones attached in the box. It comes with fists, and also includes relaxed hands, repulsor blasting hands with the emitter painted in, and repulsor blasting hands with a hole for the included blast effects (there are 4 blast effects, so the figure can be posed flying and firing, or flying with the repulsors used for guidance). I'm not big on displaying my figures with effects parts, but they're there for people who like them, and they're very well done, with a nice fading orange/yellow gradiant. The repulsor-blasting hands have the wrists angled back versus the relaxed hands just going straight on. The figure itself is very, very nice. This is my first ZD Toys figure and I didn't know what to expect, but was relieved when I opened it. The sculpting is spot on and the molding is crisp and sharp (no soft edges like you'd find on figures that have to be sold at Walmart or Target here). The paint is very clean, with almost no soft edges or spillover that I can see. The articulation is great: not only plentiful and well engineered, but there were no stuck joints when I starting posing it. Even the best quality figures will often have a bicep swivel or hip or something that requires a little (or, more likely, a worrying amount of) force to get moving. Some of my Hasbro figures require boiling, and in a few cases, have stuck joints that will simply never move no matter what. This guy was smooth right out of the box. Nothing feels loose at all. The range on the head is a bit limited, which might be the only real disappointment (hard to get a good flying pose when it can't look up very far), but I probably won't display it flying, and everything else about the figure is so well done that I can overlook that one flaw. What really won me over, in addition to the quality of the figure, is the price. I paid around $40 for this guy. Yes, that's a bit more than a Marvel Legend (which keep inching closer to the $30 price point every year), but it's about half of a Mafex, and the quality is amazing for that price. It doesn't quite have the heft of a Mafex or SHF (which use slightly heavier plastic and some diecast), but it's a great value for what you do get. Please be aware, though, that this isn't the type of figure you'd give to a kid. I've seen some people complain how "fragile" it is. Mine seems plenty sturdy, but I've also been collecting Japanese/Korean figures for years. They're meant for posing and display, not bath time or running around the yard smashing them into each other. In that regard, they're some of the best figures I've ever seen. I don't know how many others I'll buy, since most of the other releases in this line are of armors I've already bought several times over in various similarly-scaled lines. I'll still keep my fingers crossed that one day someone will release the Mk 39 in 1:12 scale, but until then, I'm glad to have such a great figure of my favorite IM3 suit.

Worth the money
Came in a very neat and sturdy package. Great piece to show off on your display case or computer desk. Very detailed with most parts moving around very easy to set up in most poses on the included stand. Come with a whole lot of different accessories as well , the color scheme is an almost perfect identical match to the original MK 39 model. Very sturdy and smooth paint work. Over all the price is definitely worth it.

Super cool
I absolutely loved this. Gemini is one of my favorite suits and almost impossible to find any merch for. This was fun to play with and once I got him in a position I liked, he's been on my shelf just looking awesome.

Beautiful
Wonderful action figure with great posability and accessories. However, there are a few points that could use more, namely the head/neck joint. Also, the eyes being just clear makes them look dark and the suit dead.
