MKS (Mikashima) Cage Clips, Quarter, Left and Right Set

So far I've tried: Velo Orange Chrome Half Clips, Pair MKS Half Clip Mini steel toe clip, chrome  (too low-profile for street shoes)and my previous favorite:  MKS Deep Steel With Leather Half Cycling Shoe Clips One Size Silver .But, I seem to break a pair of half clips about every year for the past 4 years, so now I'm trying these. I realize that I've invested enough by now to have just bought a pair of Bruce Gordon Stainless Strapless Toe Clips in the first place. I'll try to report back in a year and, if these break, that's what I'll buy.I like how these fit. They're easy to clip into, and they treat the dress shoes that I wear to work well. For perspective, I commute daily, live without a car, and ride maybe 3500-4000 miles per year.Cheers,Mike

These are great! As a stubborn hold-over for platform pedals, my only real complaint is foot slippage, particularly on rainy days, and these solve that problem without also inhibiting my ability to get my foot situated and out when I stop, which is why I was never a fan of full strap clips. Probably more so that soft straps or leather clips, once you put these on you need to be committed to using them and not let them drag, because they could easily catch on the asphalt and cause problems.
