Works great!
I ordered this to replace the busted one on my Chevy Sonic LS 2013. The plastic is alright, I don't expect it to last forever, but it's doing real well so far. I replaced it a few months ago and car is working just fine. It fit in great with no leaks or cracks. And the price was great, I was not ready to drop $$$ on an all metal one at the moment. Would purchase again.

Great product!
I replaced this thermostat housing on my 2017 Chevrolet Sonic and it fit perfectly the first time with no leaks. I had purchased a metal housing some time back but I was never able to figure out why it leaked water from an aluminum pipe attached to it. The plastic housing looks and feels solid. I live in south Texas and the temperature is very hot during the Summer so I am confident this product will take the heat.

value for money
Recently changed (5 days back) for my checy sonic 2015. This part comes with O ring. I had car mechanic to change it. Also this job also requires part change "Throttle Body Heater Inlet Pipe 25192904 of For-GM Equipment, from Koxuyim for Chevrolet Aveo Aveo5 Pontiac 1.6L & Chevrolet Sonic Cruze Limited Cruze 1.8L 1.6L 2011-2017" (search amazon) After changing, no sign of coolant leak near engine area. will monitor this for few weeks and update the outcome.

Check for the O-ring BEFORE installing
I bought this for a 2013 Chevy Sonic 1.8L. The fit was perfect - no issue there. But when I cranked the car (after the repair), coolant GUSHED out of the thermostat housing. I checked all connections and everything was properly connected. So I removed the thermostat from the housing (4x 5/16 screws). And guess what.....NO O-RING!!! So I moved the O-ring from the old one to the new one and re-installed everything. No leaks; no gushing coolant. I would have returned it, but I needed to fix my car without delaying several more days. Save yourself some time - BEFORE installing, remove the thermostat from the housing and just check to make sure the O-ring is there.

Perfect fit
Part as described. You may want to buy the throttle body coolant line as well as the plastic is brittle and breaks easily when trying to remove
