I found one on sale a while back and thought I’d give it a try. I was shocked at how handy it was. Hands down the best tool for cleaning trout I have found. Excellent scaler, used on trout, perch, and salmon. The guy hook cuts the fish open with ease and the point end cleans the blood line out quickly. So when my Gutsy got accidentally left at a vacation stop, I had to buy a replacement. I didn’t even mind paying full price this time. We’ll work the money, just don’t lose it.

I bought this for my husband as a gift. I'm sure at first sight he thought "great, another gadget tool" but he actually uses this one. Comfortable in his hand (not too big or too small; and not awkward to hold). Makes fish cleaning a breeze. Perfect tool to add to his tackle box.
