Grandson loves it easy to load onto iPad

Not much in the box, just the pen and figure. It requires a tablet to work, but it does work well and makes it more age appropriate for a child to be using a tablet. Most things on a tablet are too difficult for younger children to use, and unless your tablet already has a pen, they have to use their finger to draw etc. The pen with this product makes it easier for children to transition to school.

This is a really nice idea; I was keen to get my little one’s practising holding and using the pen with use of the app. Unfortunately, the metal mesh on the pen nib came away in the first 5 minutes of use rendering the whole set useless.Given the price of this set and how easily it breaks, I have given this set 2 out of 5 stars as although this set has great potential as it is designed for small children, I would have expected it to be more robust.Pros:- Great idea to get little ones using a pen.Cons:- Needs to be more robust.

The media could not be loaded. I wish I had this when I was younger. The pen and figure are well designed and the pen design helps a lot and shows the correct way of holding a pen which is great.The app is very user-friendly and easy to set up. The figurine that comes with the pen is needed to start the game and if you have more than one you can unlock different "maps" and activities. The figurine can be placed on top of the pen so you don't lose it which is very useful. The pen has a soft tip and runs very smoothly on the screen.All the app animations and voices are very easy to understand and with a very friendly tone for the kids. All the activities we tested with my daughter so far are fun and easy to follow.The price for this product seems quite high but it's worth every penny. It's a great gift idea for this Christmas and definitely a very interactive learning option for kids. A lot of kids spending too much time on other games or just watching videos but now they can play and learn at the same time. I would recommend it.

The promised playful learning experience feels forced, with limited activities that fail to captivate children's interest. Painting activities lack variety, and the color mixing feature is more gimmicky than educational. Overall, this starter set disappoints in providing a truly enriching digital education experience, and there are better alternatives available for fostering creativity in young minds. Also I am struggle to change language from German to English ;(

This is a review for Edurino Starter Set Yuki Creativity & Design, with ergonomic pen.I'm not sure why this is so expensive, for the little you get. It runs from an app which you load to your child's tablet.For the current price of £44.99 you get a pen and a little Yuki figure, and access to the app.It's suitable for children 3 and over, and it is quite simple to use, but my child got bored after a short time.I think there are better and cheaper alternatives to this, unfortunately.

I ordered this for my six year old grandson but it seemed a little simplistic for him so I think it will be better suited to a three or four year old.On opening, you don't really get a great deal for the money however once combined with the app it does open up a lot of learning possibilities.My six year old started by attaching the figure to his tablet after installing the app, it took a few tries but it did eventually connect properly, I really think that the figure needs a better mode of connection than it uses but it does work well once combined.The pen is very easy to hold and helps even the young to be able to learn to draw, paint and even write so once connected with the app I did find it to be quite good value even though there sit a great deal in the box for the cost.Using this with the smart board, pen and app is a joy for youngsters, it only kept my six year old entertained for about an hour however my 38 month old took charge as soon as he could and he seems to be loving it. He can't really draw or paint but he loves that what he selects can become an image on his tablet and the little figure is so cute that no-one could not love that, lol.Overall, this at first glance seems expensive but once you find out how interactive it is when combined with the app it really is worth every penny, just don't loose the figure as that is the gateway to the tablet connection.Recommended.
