This pouch seems well made and the zippers work smoothly. Since you have to unzip it, it doesn't qualify as fast draw rig. It is a great way to carry a handgun in the field as it is protected from dirt, dust and at least light drizzle. A spray on water proofing product would no doubt help. I haven't had any rain to try it. out. It will carry a Ruger SP101, 3" barrel, S&W "J" frames with 4", a full size 1911 that doesn't have red dot sights or a light that protrudes past the barrel. A Colt Trooper Mk. III, 4" will fit but that is about the limit. The Velcro on the adjustable holster is quite strong. The smaller compartment will carry extra clips or speed strips. Speed loaders should be ok. I carry the speed strips since they are much less bulky. Also a nice pack to just carry stuff that you don't want in your pockets.

It is a good concealed carry bag. It's small, strong, and stays close to the body. Just what i was looking for.
