Functional but tinny-sounding
It works okay but the sound quality is disappointingly tinny. I’ve had better sounding mini-speakers of this size and type.

A great little speaker
A great little speaker. I bought this to replace the speakers that have packed up on my Macbook pro laptop. In no way is it a quality hi-fidelity sound, but it does the job. And it's a much cheaper alternative than getting the internal speakers repaired at an extortionate price. You don't have to use the blue tooth option. Simply double click the "on" button to make it work. Highly recommended.

Does not work in accordance with instructions. Hit and miss working and you don’t know why when it suddenly works. Sending it back!

Value lacking
The speaker was a little bit harsh but it matcht the radio which was also quite harsh to listen to. Value for money it was not very high.

Yes works old style - not just bluetooth
Thanks to Kash review - yes this works with just plugging the jack into a player - in my case a play away talking book borrowed from the library. My mum is now in a care home and due to hand tremor struggles to turn pages. So wanted a small speaker like this to connect via jack to a play away. The instructions that come with the speaker are v Japanese and about Bluetooth. But the hit the button twice tip works. Great strong rounded sound for a v small thing

Lovely little speaker
A rather specific niche for a speaker, but this was the only decent one I could find, and I’m very glad I went with it. The audio quality is nothing amazing, and is noticeably missing some low end, but considering the form factor and ease of use, I can’t complain at all. I use this to plug into a headphone amp I have so I essentially have a mini amp outputting sound all in one little package. Lovely. Also, turns on and off instantly, which isn’t really a feature, but it’s worth noting.
