I'm using two of these carbon block filters in series to take out most of the sulfur in our well water. This is a SW Florida well which has heavy sulfur content as well as high iron. There is no sulfur taste and only a hint of smell to the water in the house since installing these filters/cartridges. I first tried carbon wrapped filters n those lasted a week then the strong sulfur smell & taste was back. Carbon block is the only filter to use.

Nice clear water but not completely rid of chemical odor and flavor. Water from refrigerator (through a second filter) is still way better. Was expecting close to perfect drinking water throughout the house, not the case. But clear and clean enough....

Perfect fit for my filter. Water is as good as a bottle of store bought water.

When they arrived we did not need right away so I didn't open until a few days ago. 2 out of the 6 had broken plastic and will not work, now I am stuck with them as my return window has closed.

Did not work well at all, it may work for a expensive particle filter, but it does not work for what you expect a carbon filter to do.

It lasts 4 to 6 months for a regular house with 4 occupant. It does get rid of all chlorine taste and stops the orange/pink deposit in the bath and shower. Love it.

It's a filter - it's does the job it's supposed to do. This is the 4th one I've bought in the last couple of years.Good value

Standard filter I used to buy in Home Depot (not available anymore).Was delivered with cracked plastic, installed anyway, don't think it affects performance
