Made of durable rubber
Well made and they fit well and work well too. My vent covers have pointed corners so I used a bit of tape to soften the edges before using these, though the thickness of the rubber probably would not have allowed a puncture.

Stuck together
Covers were stuck together. One ripped when I pulled it apart. They work great, just depends on if they are flexible or stuck together when they arrive.

Eh
I live in the upper level of a house and the thermostat is in the middle level and heat rises. So, I was sweating at night. Reviews of other products weren’t very good but this product sounded promising. After installation of the product I noticed that air is still coming out along where the adjustment lever is for the vent. Therefore, I do have some air noise but perhaps not as much as if the vent is closed without the product. After further inspection I realized that the vent fastener pushed the vent blocker off on the side causing air to leak through. After that I decided not to use the vent blockers as I plan on removing and putting on according to season and it’s hard to remove the fasteners with a wrench and the one fastener already stripped the drywall. So, I decided to just tape plastic over the outside of the vent. I also have taken air temperature readings since I installed plastic on my vents and the temperature only dropped 1 degree. So, I guess heat just rises so well that I will just have to deal with it. Maybe someone else can use the vent blockers. Perhaps those that have your vent on the floor because there is no fastener on those.

Could not use; it's too thick & I couldn't get vent covers back in place with this cover on
I liked the *idea* of this product, but we couldn't use it because there's not enough space around our vent covers for this thick rubber to fit onto them and then put the vent covers back in place. I guess we could have tried jamming them hard (stomping on them?) but then I don't know if we would've ever gotten them out again. Also, it was quite ugly. I didn't think this product would look so obvious on the vents. I guess you could trim the edges of the rubber so it wasn't poking out, but I'd still prefer a color other than black. We have wood vent covers, so I'd like tan (or similar). I'm sure others might prefer white.

Thick, Durable Rubber Vent Covers Fit Perfectly and Do the Trick!
I was reordering magnetic vent covers the other day to close off most of my home from AC and direct it to just 1-2 smaller rooms. As I was adding the covers to my cart, one of the suggested products on the page were these rubber vent covers. I was a bit skeptical, wondering if they'd be thick enough, possibly tearing on the metal edges of my floor vents but I went ahead and nixed the magnetic covers and ordered a couple packs of the rubber overs, figuring I could always return them, and I'm so glad I did. The magnetic covers worked to some degree but there was still some cool air coming through around the edges. With the rubber covers, the air is completely blocked, as they cover the underside of the metal vent covers completely. They were just the right size and easy to place over the vent covers. For the vents that are most visible in my home, I used only the rubber covers underneath the vents, which looks better than the magnetic covers and eliminates any slippage. I found that in higher-traffic areas, the magnetic covers sometimes slid off, and I'd purchased the strongest of those---this is a non-issue with the rubber covers that wrap around the bottom of the vent. The only challenge I had with the rubber vent covers was with unfolding them--the folded-over sections were somewhat stuck together, and did require a bit of careful oomph to unfold. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with the warm weather while in transit or if this is just a normal occurrence in packaging. I was worried that I might damage the covers by needing to apply some pressure to unfold them, but all covers unfolded without any tears. As well, the covers are uniformly thick, including the all-important corners that are covering sharper metal edges on the vent. Again, no rips or tears at all. I did add the magnetic covers to some of the vents that are more out of the way or where my vent covers don't fit as well as they could in this older home. Both together completely seal the vent beautifully for those vents that are an issue, but for most of the vents, the rubber vent cover alone nicely does the trick. I was so happy with the covers that I just ordered another set for the 3 more vents. They're a bit pricey, so I plan to purchase another couple sets for the back storage room that for now still has only magnetic covers and heavy furniture covering those vents, but I plan to eventually have the rubber vents covering all of those. They really do a great job and I highly recommend them for anyone who hasn't been satisfied using magnetic vent covers. These would work especially well for ceiling vents where magnetic covers sometimes don't hold as well. I'm really happy that I gave these a try!

Great fit for all my floor ones
So happy I did it. I have a lot being down in my crawl space due to rodent damage. So it had rodent stink, chemicals, glue and other things. Oh and all ducts have been pulled out due to rodent damage as well. I first just taped them over before the crew started to work. And of course it looked ugly. Thai solution is perfect since you can’t see it, just working well under the vent. Yay! Thank you
