I got this for my daughter to help display her books and jewelries at the art markets where she has a stand. This easel is sturdy and looks the part in an art market. The fold flat design as well as adjustable angle makes it easy to store, carry and use. She likes it and will use it, so simply on that basis it's a 5 star in my books.

One of my biggest irritations in the kitchen: Cookbooks that won't stay open. I lost the page, stuff is currently cooking, where is the recipe in the book, and what was the next step? All an instant nightmare while trying to cook at the same time.I've got to say that this little book easel has fixed that issue from happening again. It doesn't matter how stubborn the cookbook spine is, there is an angle and a setup that will make that book behave with this product. I just love this thing. I can just set it where I need it to be and I know I won't have any issues reading through the recipe.The easel is made of some nicely finished wood and folds up nicely while not in use. I can just take it and set it on the same shelf with all of the cookbooks. It's a very convenient item to own in the kitchen. I'm just sad I didn't know these were a thing years ago. But I've got one now, and I can't be any happier with it. 5 stars.

The real wood surface is beautifully polished and feels pleasant to the touch. This is definitely a solid device with an elegant design that allows it to be easily closed to a flat position with no protrusions or divots and be opened to any of a few angles of tilted positions. It has small arms at the front of the bottom ledge that fold up to hold your pages open. It functions well as a means of holding open a book, perhaps as part of a ceremony, or music sheets during a performance, and at the lowest angle it will face upward for a cook who is standing over a counter working a recipe. The person I got it for uses it for holding up small art projects as she paints them and is happy with it so far. The one minor issue is that the adjustable metal kickstand folds into a grooved area so snugly that it takes a bit of effort to pull it back out. You might need to pry it with something if you have short nails. It’s so nicely crafted, useful, and versatile, however, that I don’t think that minor issue is justification for any demerits.

The bookstand is very versatile as well as being beautiful. I plan to use it in the kitchen to hold a cookbook while I am making meals. However, I also plan to use it to hold a book when I want to read while I am eating my breakfast.This bookstand is very high quality. It is easy to open and close. It is sturdy and is sure to last a long time. The design is simple and elegant.This is an excellent product!
