For My Nativity set

This product is just kind of strangely made. It looks best running short-ways across the middle of a table. I wouldn't run it down the length like a traditional runner, given the fixed directionality of the strands of plastic hay. We wanted to use it for a convention display for our fall collection, and we did manage to do that. But it was a bit of a let down. The rubber backing is thick, which is both nice and not, since it shows up rolled and wants to stay that way. All said, I think depending on the application, this is an ok product, you just have to be willing and have the time to work with it.

Going to use for a manger
I saw this and thought it would be perfect for a nativity manger. It is a lot less messy than real hay/straw.A few pieces flew off but that’s probably normal from the cutting process. Great, unique runner!

I see the vision I really do. I want to love it, but it was so fake looking and the green from the bottom was showing! If it was more full and longer it would have been perfect also needs to be less shiny

Great Table Decoration for Parties
I bought this Faux Thatch Straw Table Runner for a Halloween party, and it was perfect! The color and texture are spot on for a natural look, and it really enhanced the hunting theme we were going for. The size is ideal for smaller tables, and it worked well as a centerpiece. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, plus it’s sturdy enough to be reused. I even got compliments on how unique it was! It would work for a variety of events, especially Western or rustic-themed parties. Definitely worth the purchase!

A little fake looking but otherwise nice
I ordered this to use as a table runner for my daughter's Hawaiian themed birthday, and it mostly fits the bill. It measured true to the dimensions, and I like that it comes with a pad underneath to help stabilize it and prevent it from moving around on the table. However, the thatch grass is a lot more 'fake' looking than the advertised pictures show. I knew it was artificial thatch, but it has a very thin and plasticy look to it. The plastic is similar to what you'd find with a cheap Hawaiian grass skirt, but I guess that still fits the theme. I just feel the product doesn't quite match the quality shown in the description, so that's a bit of a bummer. But considering the price, it isn't bad and should work fine for her party. If you're expecting a more natural looking thatch, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. If that's not a concern, it's a great option at a lower price point than the more realistic versions.

Unique Runner
Once this runner is removed from the package so did a lot of loose grass. It sheds too much to be on a table with food, I suggest it's on a table with other decor and no food. Feels rough, not hay more like straw. If your an artist you can think of other uses for this runner.
