Great for rocks and rage—terrible for fabric unless you enjoy permanent regrets.
I bought these Overseas White and Black Paint Pens with high hopes and a Pinterest-fueled vision of custom tote bags, decorated jackets, and maybe a few Instagram-worthy sneakers. What I got instead was an art supply that doubles as a fabric-destroying leak missile. The markers work okay on hard surfaces—rock, wood, glass, etc. No complaints there. But the moment they even sense cloth? Oh no. They don’t write—they bleed like they’ve been stabbed in a marker-themed soap opera. I tried drawing on canvas and ended up with a Rorschach test of despair. The paint didn’t just seep through—it went through the canvas, onto the table, and into my soul. My hoodie? Now features a permanent abstract blob that I’ve decided to name “Regret in Oil-Based Medium.” They say "waterproof" and "quick-dry"—and sure, but no one warns you that they also come with a bonus: uncontrollable flow on anything even remotely absorbent. Also, a few of them leaked inside the cap, so opening them is a game of “Will this stain my fingers for 3 days?” Final verdict: Great for smooth, nonporous surfaces. Avoid on cloth unless you enjoy chaos, heartbreak, and accidental fashion statements.

Definitely will buy again
I bought this set and a set of colored pens (60 pens in total for 180 kids). Suggest being careful when you shake them because we had 3 semi-explode from aggressive shaking. Oops! Those 3 still worked but were messy because they leaked onto hands (which the kids didn't seem to mind). We didn't have a single pen run out of paint during the project. Warning: the lids need an extra push down until you hear a snap before they are truly closed. That is probably why people have complained about them drying out. Easy to do once we discovered that trick. I definitely will be buying them again. The kids loved using them and it made life SO much easier to clean up after them. Pens make far less of a mess with kids than paints and brushes and like I said, 180 kids at the same time! No spills and better details on their projects.

Don't breath fumes or use on soft plastic.
Marking is a little streaky with white. May need to use shorter strokes. I was trying cursive. Black was more even. Very durable. Fairly broad tip. Very tight-fitting cap works great. Heed the warnings, avoid fumes.
