Will this work with an old fashioned Clawfoot tub?

I cannot say for sure without seeing the tub. Typically, it's meant to work on an Alcove style bathtub. The clamp can close and tighten onto surfaces that are between 3" and 8" in depth. Hope this helps! :) -step2health team

will this work on carpet?

Don't waste your money on this product. It's doesn't work well at all. The parts are very flimsy. I am thinking about taking them to court to get my money back . I spend almost $200.00 on this product.
