Colour Name:Orange By simply self-molding a Sharkfin to each earbud, you will discover a long-term comfortable tight sealed fit that prevents irritation so that you can feel the music and not your earphones. Sharkfin mutes outside noise allowing you to enjoy your music at lower and safer volumes. Once in, your buds will always stay in place during workouts, they won't shift or fall out of your ears. Sharkfin is specially formulated to be sweat, water and UV resistant. It quickly molds in 5 minutes and will ensure a heightened listening experience to the music you love.

Better than expected and holding up well 4 weeks later
I bought this because part of being a headphone(and earphone)enthusiast is finding the perfect fit. Key to this for earphones is comfortable isolation from the outside world, whilst at the same time improving the sound of your earphones and it not costing an arm and a leg.I happy to say this does both. I was a little wary, having watched the video on how to use these I thought that perhaps they wouldn't live up to the marketing hype like a lot of products these days. There are a number of products like this on the market but I went for these because the others seemed to get a lot of poor reviews with the complaint that they didn't harden properly. I happy to say that this isn't the case with this product. If you follow the directions carefully and avoid the temptation to take these out early, before the 5 minutes has elapsed I think you'll find it easy to get a good fit. Although I have to admit I threw away my first attempt, it's a good thing that they include enough compund to do 3 earphones (but only just).I am using this with Shure SE530 earphones and I didn't think that it could improve the fit at all as these are already snug fitting. I am happy to say I was wrong, not only do they improve the fit they also slightly improve the sound by tightening up the lower frequencies a bit. It's also important to not that they can be removed from the earphone relatively easily without damaging it.I have to say the final result doesn't look pretty and you may get some strange looks walking down the street. I'm also planning to trim and tidy them up a bit with a Dremel but on the whole I'm quite pleased. It's certainly much cheaper and quicker than having custom ear moulds done, although I'm not too sure how long these things will last, by their very nature I expect them to start to come apart after a few weeks. As to what could be improved, a couple of small things but on the listing it didn't say whether these were the grey or the white version. I got the grey, which was fine but the picture when checking out was the white one. The other thing would be to provide a different package with more compound. Be aware that these are not deisgned to replace the foam or silicone part of your earphones (the bit that with in canal phones goes into the ear canal), you will still need those. This is designed to work in tandem with them. I would also like to see a product which is designed to replace those as well, granted it'll be more expensive and the moulding process will be much more complicted but I've seen that this sort of product is on the horizon.Hope that helps**4 Weeks Later**They're still holding up, I use them about 5 times a week for a couple of hours and they have started to separate slightly from the earphones

Not convinced
Used for motorbike with headphones inserted. You will need at least 2 packs as they need to be 50% bigger to give you enough material to comfortably fill the ear space. have used on the bike once and I'm not convinced about the protection from wind noise.

some skill, and practice required, but works.
some skill, and practice required, but works. split the kit in too 3 attempts, practice with first, clean up and go for it. if a friend can help all the better, just remember do not combine elements until ready.

Poor quality
Cheap looking packaging and nowhere near enough to mould 3 earbuds as advertised, there was barely enough for 2. Product set to a crumbly texture and set too quickly to mould properly. Fell off my earphones straight away. Waste of money.

works well, just dont use the recommended instructions.
Not for everyone. This stuff was terrible the first time I used it. Mixing the compounds, trying to mold it around my earpiece and then shove it in my ear to mold to my ear. Then the stuff slides off and you do not get a good fit. Ugh!BUT WAIT. If you have a drill you can get the best ear buds ever. Ditch the part where you mold it the eardbud. Mold it to your ear only. Let it dry for a day then drill a small hole for the sound to go into the ear canal about halfway into the bud. Then drill a hole slightly smaller than the eardbud speaker. Make sure this hole penetrates the ear canal hole you just drilled. Then bam! Perfect fit earbud!

Good if you follow the other directions
Per another review, I molded these into my ears like they were going to be regular earplugs and not around the headphones. Afterwards, I drilled a hole with a regular ol' drill bit that was slightly smaller than the "tube" of my earbuds, pushed them in, and it worked great.

Much to be desired! Try alternate method
I bought 2 sets in the event I made any errors. The first package failed miserably. It did not adhere to the earbud, and the fit left much to be desired. Because of these failures, I don't know if the end product actually isolates outside sounds from the produced sound. Looking at other reviews, I will try an alternate method and see where that gets me. I will review again after the alternate method is finished. Round 2; instead of a set of 3, I divided the components into two equal parts. Molded to my ear first, then used a drill to bore a hole through the earpiece. Fitted my earbuds, and everything worked fine. May need to glue buds to earpieces, but they fit fine and sound good.

Waste of money and time
I had very high hopes for this stuff and was utterly disappointed. The instructions are almost too small to read, with tiny illustrations that are impossible to make out and useless. Using with earbuds, the material is greasy and slides around while trying to mold in ear. It's impossible to get it to stay still long enough to get a quality seal once it is hardened. While molding, some of the material was pushed in to one of the ear buds likely ruining it.There is not enough of the material. When I finally got one to set in my ear I noticed that it was not nearly enough to cover the area and seal once hardened. I think it may have worked if there was at least 50% more of the goop to cover the bud and seal my ear canal, but definitely not enough to do both.

Big increase in bass!
It sounds great. I used half the product for each ear – nothing left for a third plug. The two parts were mixed vigorously. I waited 15 minutes (not 5) for it to set in the ear and waited 24 hours before drilling. I then used a small drill for the earphone hole. The drill size was gradually increased to make the hole just large enough for the earphone. This was done by hand – no electric drill used. I wanted an increase in bass response and I got it. Pictures attached.
