Cork Wood Yoga Blocks with Premium Designs, 2 Pack

I bought these blocks to replace my basement gym blocks. It's a location I don't practice often, so I really didn't want to buy a second pair of my favorite dense foam blocks as they are a bit pricey so I thought I'd try these. I'd heard yogis say they prefer cork, so I figured I'd try them out - especially at this price. I didn't really care for the pictures on the blocks, but I chose the elephants. They look better in person. The important part to me was the stability and sturdiness of the blocks. I'm a 5'11" woman carrying about 50 lbs too much and with shoulder issues. I use the blocks often. These blocks never seem unstable. They are solid! They are heavier than my foam blocks, but I don't mind for how I use blocks. I wouldn't want them if I was doing a flow where you carry the block from one asanabto the next - for instance, pick it up as you move into warrior 2 (front hand), then move into triangle or warrior 3, placing the block down to extend the front hand. I'm really glad I took the chance on these though. In fact I see myself using them more than the foam ones in the future.

These yoga blocks are sturdy and have a lovely design. I was a little concerned that they would be too light-weight. But, they are heavy enough that I feel confident when I stand or balance on them. Just what I was looking for.

Although they are very heavy, I love how sturdy they are. They are solid and do not have any give at all unlike the heavy foam blocks. They provide a secure feeling when using them to stretch and hold my weight. And the elephant design? Darling!

They don't move or slip even when I put my full weight on them. And the design makes me smile when I look down at them - even while trying to hold ardha chandrasana!

These are very sturdy and can support weight for difficult postures. The stamped design is very attractive. They are not lightweight like rubber blocks on purpose to provide stability. Satisfied customer.

Sturdy, good quality, plus a cool design. I prefer cork blocks to foam for the weight and solidness. These blocks work well in my practice and they add just a little pizazz with the subtle design. Sure, I could go with plain cork but why not go for something a little enhanced?
