hurts at first but WORKS
i bought this bc i sit at a desk 8hrs a day and my neck was always stiff — like, “can’t turn to check blind spot” stiff. First time using it? Yeah, it felt weird. Kinda pinchy. Read the instructions — don’t pump it up all the way right away. Started at two pumps. 5 mins. Felt… strange. But light. value for money? cheaper than ONE chiropractor visit. i’ve used it 20+ times already. paid for itself day one. effectiveness? legit. not placebo. actual relief. less headaches. less “ugh my neck is stuck.” can turn my head now without sounding like popcorn. easy to use? yeah. pump, lay down, chill. no apps. no charging. no confusing buttons. velcro straps are simple — just snug, not tight. my mom (68) uses it too. if she can, anyone can. Day 3 — 4 pumps. 7 mins. That’s when I felt it—that release. My shoulders dropped by half an inch. Slept better that night. Now I use it 3x a week. 5-6 pumps. 10 mins. While watching Netflix. No pain. Just stretch. My chiropractor even asked what I’ve been doing lol. It’s not magic. You gotta use it. Consistently. And don’t overpump — your neck ain’t a bike tire. Downside? The Velcro is loud. And it smells like new plastic for like 3 days. But who cares? My neck doesn’t crack when I look left anymore

helps to relief the pain, but check with your doctor fist
I had terrible neck pains lately, due to the wrong posture in front of the computer, and my doctor advised me to get a traction device, which would help me to stretch my neck and release the pressure. When I saw this device, I found that this is exactly what I need. No matter how many times I red the manual, I was not able to set it up by myself, therefore I asked my doctor to help me with it, which I felt to be the best way to go forward, so that he can see and approve the device and help me to set it up. Apparently, if you know what you're doing, the setup is very easy and straightforward. All you have to do is set the device around your neck and build some pressure in the system, using the hand pump provided, so that the device will start to stretch your neck, decompressing the bones and releaving the neck tension. Now that the doctor has shown me how to do it, I can do all the setup myself without any issues. I wear the device only a few times a day, 10-15min each time. I have already noticed positive improvements, I stopped having pains in the morning. The device works great, but I would advise you to check it with your doctor and seek his approval and decision whether it is suitable to use this device for your situation.

Took some getting used to
There's a bit of learning curve to get this on so that it doesn't feel like it's trying to push my head off. I took it steady and made an effort not to force anything and eventually for it to a point where it was, if not comfortable then at least tolerable for a few minutes. At the end of the day it's forcing a structural change on your neck so it isn't meant to be comfortable, and once it is then it's done its job. This is very much how I've found it over the last couple of days, it gets just a little bit easier each time it's on. Build quality feels excellent and it's as sturdy as I'd expect something like this to be. The padding doesn't look like much but it does feel sufficient for the most part. There's a bit of a balance between function and tolerance where you need it to be uncomfortable enough to it's thing without making it a miserable experience and the padding is definitely on the right side of this. I can't really comment on the price as I have nothing to compare it with, but I can absolutely believe this to be worth £150.

It works, but is painful to use for some people.
I can see how this product can be effective. Sadly the materials used are really cheap, and if you have a pronounced adams apple, it will hurt. I’ve tried all adjustments and it just isn’t comfortable. If the chin supports had thicker foams, it would be pleasant to use, instead, just a sharp digging pain.

Ok, this thing is amazing! Really, if you have bad neck pain that's the kind that would be helped by traction, you would be doing yourself a favor by getting this. (I'm a nurse, so this disclaimer is necessary: that whole ask your doctor thing? Do that. I used a neck hammock for a while, and it felt fantastic, but I learned that I was making my condition worse by pulling my head forward! Make sure traction is a good idea.) Because of.... let's say, ongoing tension from life's craziness... on top of the forward head-leaning that goes with looking at phones and other screens, my neck has become so painful that I've been scared about my old age. I'm 55, and I plan to use this neck for a long time to come! I get adjustments, and they help, but the muscles are pretty traumatized. I massage my neck, use a pain cream, and use a few other devices, some of which are ok. THIS is a game- changer. 3 weeks in of doing about 15-20 minutes, once a day at first, but now twice-- plus whenever I feel the need. Y'all, I generally don't expect stuff to work. I didn't expect this to work! I have more range of motion turning my head, better posture, less pain, more awareness of head position when on my phone, and I can feel the most painful, traumatized muscles healing. Try it. They take returns, though I doubt you'll want to do that.

I was honestly surprised by how effective this neck traction device is. It’s easy to use, inflates smoothly, and the different traction levels let you customize the stretch without feeling too intense. After just a few uses, I noticed less tension and stiffness in my neck, especially after long days. The built-in airbags make it feel supportive and evenly distributed. Great option if you’re dealing with neck pain and want something convenient at home.

HSA eligibility is a great value! It is comfortable in the sense of how it fits with chin rest. I’ve seen some progress for pain relief in the curve of neck and shoulders. I’m also able to get it on and off by myself easily.

This adjustable neck brace / neck traction device is a godsend! I was having lots of neck "popping" after a little accident involving a mountain bike. After a month or so, I decided to buy one from Amazon and give it a try. The one I bought had the accessory battery powered air pump and a matching air bladder which is built-in to the Neck Brace. Follow the video instruction so that the first use is easy. After that, you can put on or take off this amazing brace with no problem (I am a male senior-senior citizen). This device works to press against the shoulders to lift the chin and rearmost part of your skull. This gentle lifting of your jaw and head away from your shoulders puts your neck into "tension", thus gently and very slightly separating the cervical vertebrae thus reducing pressure on the discs in between. The aforementioned precision air pump has a clever 'quick-connect' hose that allows air to be pumped slowly into the air bladder in the rearmost portion of the neck brace. As the air bladder fills, the brace seems to gradually tighten around the back of the neck and gently lifts the back of the skull away from your shoulders. The Adam's apple portion of the front of the neck is never touched by this brace, ensuring that the User can always breathe and speak freely, even with tension being applied to the cervical vertebrae. After using this brace for 10 minutes while lying in bed, done twice a day, for 10 days - my neck popping and twinges of pain with movement totally disappeared. Now, months later, my neck is fully functional and never an issue. "Your mileage may vary". PS: I now take yoga at the Y which is a total life enhancer - I feel 25 years younger. But this neck brace is the real deal.
