Solid quality, fast delivery
I have been extremely impressed with the IRONSURGE Pull Up Bar system. The build quality feels incredibly solid and secure, and installation was surprisingly easy without needing to drill holes or use screws. Once mounted, it feels very stable and inspires confidence during workouts. The included resistance bands and handles were a great bonus and make the system much more versatile than a standard pull-up bar. I’ve been able to use it not only for pull-ups and chin-ups, but also for stretching, resistance exercises, and core work. The training materials were also helpful and made it easy to start using everything effectively right away. One of the things that stood out most to me was how well engineered the bar feels. There’s minimal movement once tightened properly, and the padding helps protect the doorway while still maintaining a secure fit. It feels premium compared to many other doorway bars I’ve tried in the past. Overall, this is an outstanding value for the price and a fantastic option for anyone looking to build strength at home without permanently modifying their space. Highly recommended.

Perfect for working up to your first pull up
I’ve been using the IRONSURGE Pull Up Bar for Hallway or Doorway for a few weeks and really like it. It is easy to set up, really sturdy, and the grip is comfortable. It’s also incredibly versatile for different exercises. They offer a free smaller bar with purchase which was super easy to claim and showed up fast. Now I have two bars! I can’t do a pull up yet and probably won’t for months, but this definitely makes it easier to work toward my goals.

Easy setup, sturdy.
Very Sturdy, bands are nice to use, easy to set up. Definitely recommended, definitely would buy this again. Definitely would give this out as a gift. Nice to be able to close my door to my bathroom

Works Great Even with Drywall
Very happy with this pull-up bar. Even though our walls are drywall, the installation worked out well. We placed a long wooden board between the bar and each wall so that the pressure would be distributed across the wall studs rather than directly on the drywall. The bar feels sturdy and secure, and it has been working great.

Look elsewhere!
It is sturdy! I had it up in a wide doorway for over a year and it didn’t budge. But the part about it going in hallways isn’t the best idea so only use it in doorframes. The ends of this bar are a soft plastic that really embedded itself into the wall and would not let go. So it messed up both sides of the paint and drywall pretty bad. You could maybe put some folded parchment paper between the bar-end and the wall? But I would not buy this again because this added quite the project for me to do and pay for. My advice is to get a regular bar with the rubber ends that fits into an actual doorframe. This bar would be too awkward to put in a doorframe.

Very well built, sturdy pull-up bar.
The Ironsurge 37-47” is a very well made, high quality and solid pull-up bar. For extra peace of mind, I placed mine in the hallway, above the trim on 2 doors. I believe if it was installed just on the drywall, according to the instructions provided, that it would also be very secure. It is easy to adjust and, once set in place, it stays in place. The resistance bands and handles are a very nice bonus and they, too, are very high quality. I am not yet able to do pull-ups but I do frequently just hang from the bar, to help decompress my spine which offers relief for a while. I leave the bar in place so that it’s ready whenever I feel the need for a hang. At the time of my purchase, a Free travel size bar was offered as a bonus with the purchase of either the medium or large size bar, making it an exceptional value. I would definitely recommend this bar for anyone wanting a good pull-up bar.

Very solid/stable
This bar is very solid and stable. I have the longest version and was concerned about the possible flex. On a 51 inch span I get what feels like less than 1/4" deflection when hanging 180lb in the middle, and practically no deflection when the hands are shoulder-width apart. As per instructions, you need a pair of studs aligned at the same location on both ends, I had to pick a different spot than planned. If you have modern sheetrock, the magnet trick works well to find screws in the studs (older plaster homes are harder). The easiest was finding the king stud next to two facing doors for me. The provided rubber bands are surprisingly useful, they can be used as a lift assist (hang them and stand on them) if you haven't worked up your muscles strength yet, they allow you to do more repetitions to get in the training zone sooner. Can use them for other muscle groups too, like triceps or chest, look at the included guide for suggestions. You can adjust the assist by shortening the bands a bit, using them at the knees instead of feet, or by going with a single band. Of course you look up exercises with the resistance bands off the bar too. More bands can be purchased on Amazon also, and now you have a solid anchor point on top. Overall very satisfied. BTW: customer service was very helpful, but my first email did get lost (to spam?). Resend if needed, they will help.

Excelente
La barra es de muy buena calidad, se fija muy bien a los marcos de las puertas y no se mueve nada al utilizarla. Pero casi 100kg y se siente muy segura. El envío fue muy tardado, fuera de eso vale mucho la pena.

Just like every other door or hallway pull-up bar , they WILL fall off
Used it for a few weeks and felt alright , until it slipped off the wall while I was using it. I only weigh 155 so I'm not a heavy dude, I didn't hurt myself thankfully but this was the very last time I put my trust in doorway or wall mounted pull up bars. They just aren't meant for long term use. I had it on super tight between 2 studs in the walls so I was extra sure it was sturdy and it still lost its grip

Missing pulling- up Safety support
I ordered this bar just for pulling up exercises. But the most important part the ‘safety supporting equipment’ is excluded from the package!
