Noontec Zoro HD Professional Headphones - Silver

I tested a large number of headphones in this price range trying to find a set that provided good quality sound, without the pumping bass that some headphone manufacturers seem to think is a good idea. I settled on these and I am delighted with my choice. I bought them for my teenage daughter, who now seems to have them permanently glued to her ears, which suggests that they are very comfortable when worn for long periods! I use them ocassionally and I find the sound to be beautifully reproduced with good quality across the audio spectrum. The bass is good, but not overpowering, so perfect for people who genuinely like to listen to music rather than have it thrust upon them! I listen to a vast range of music cover everything from rock through to classical and I have been delighted with the sound reproduction. Good quality product with a decent cable, which is important as this is a weak spot for many headphones.

These are comfortable to wear for a while but after about an hour they start to hurt behind the ears. I wear glasses so that obviously has an effect, haven't tried without them. Good sound, the bass comes through more but that's my preference. Outside noise can still be heard but only just & others can't hear what you can so that's good! They don't fold up as small as I'd like but not bad for the price.

First I got this for free with another product I bought from noontec. Normally I would never buy this, however, for free I cant complain. Now first impression is that this is just a plastic POS, dont look that well made, a little dusty, and well seeing why it is free. However that is just the first impression. And for others who see things the same way a very pleasant surprise is in store as the sound quality from this device is actually excellent. Unexpectedly excellent. Hence the 5 stars(great sound + free product). Now I am not an audio guy and do not have a trained ear so pro guys might not share that opinion, but for me for watching tv shows and games these are perfect. Thank you noontec. The headband is adjustable for larger head types, although it does not look it at first glance. The things that fit over the ears are small but fit nice. And as I said the sound is great so no complaints there. Seems like a great cheap chinese clone of dr dre beats, and recommended if its free with another product or on sale at around the 20gbp mark.

Not much to say except that these headphones sound superb. Wearing these, I've heard so many nuances in my classical music collection that I'd never been aware of before. Comfort for me is excellent, with the cups rotating on both axes to fit the ears well. Unlike other reviewers, I don't have any fears that they will break -- the folding connection is reinforced with metal and in general the phones seem well constructed and solid, without being too heavy. The detachable (and therefore replaceable) cable is a really nice touch at this price range, and the cable itself appears solid and unlikely to break any time soon. Note that these headphones are ported so they're not in any way sound isolating. Ambient noise is still reduced, but you do need a quiet environment to get the most out of these.

I have an old pair of Sony CD550 which always sounded good and these are just as good to my ear. I have similarly priced Sennheiser and Sony headphones and these are much better. Compared to the CD550 the reproduction just varies a bit, the CD550s are slightly more detailed mid-range whereas the Noontec are more detailed at higher and lower frequencies - both sound good. The clarity is good and they have decent pronounced base.

Broke after a day. Useless!

For this price? Brilliant! Week by week I like those headphones more. I'm a real perv when it comes to sound. I was looking for something good for rock and heavy-metal. I tested Sennheisers (too cold for me), AKG (meh), Beats (for the street zombies driven by bass...) and much more and Zoro HD wins everytime. The 40mm speaker is doing it's job. They have nice bass (can be punchy when it has to be), close to ear mid-range (the heart of rock and metal) and a little bit softer highs (but sparkling when the record is in good quality). All of them combined together but selective. I would really recommend those headphones. Pros: I think the best sound quality in this price range, excelent for rock, blues, jazz, even classics. Cons: Might be not so good for techno, r&b, hip-hop etc when you need bass and highs, unconfortable when you listen for couple of hours, could be more stylish (if you're deaf and you only want to look good on the streets)

Absolutely brilliant. The sound quality is superb. I cannot praise these earphone enough!!! Would definitely recommend them to anyone. They most certainly give Dr Dre headphones a run for their money!

Honest review from my side, In my opinion this is the only one I have found well balanced, clear and real in sound performance without any enhancement. For bass lovers this is the correct measure of bass which does not kill the mid and treble. GO FOR IT.

Zunächst einmal kurz zur Einordnung: Ich gebrauche Kopfhörer hauptsächlich an mobilen Endgeräten und nicht in Verbindung mit meinem AV Receiver. Das schränkt meine Rezension insofern ein, dass ich den perfekten HiFi-Genuß ohne Kopfhörer genieße. Doch was der Zoro HD aus meinen mobilen Endgeräten der Apfel-Firma herausholt ist schon erstaunlich. Lange hatte ich In-Ear-Kopfhörer, da ich diese für besser abgeschirmt hielt. Doch schon der erste Test mit dem Zorro HD ließ mich den Track gleich nochmals zurücksetzen und von vorne starten. Es handelte sich um die Herr der Ringe Filmmusik, die ja wirklich viele Facetten hat. Jedem ist klar, dass ein Stereo-Kopfhörer diese Facetten nur bedingt betonen kann. Der Zorro HD jedoch vermag es wirklich das enormes Potenzial dieser Musik zu betonen. Viele kleine "Hintergrund- Instrumente" kommen plötzlich deutlich zum Vorschein. Leichte Nuance in der Lautstärke bekommen die gewünschte Bedeutung und nicht zuletzt die instrumentellen Teile der Musik erlangen die (wahrscheinlich) gewünschten Effekte. Einfach nur gut! Manche Kritiker merken an, dass die Kopfhörer die Bässe nicht ausreichend betonen. Ja, der Zorro HD ist sparsam mit den Bässen, worin ich aber gerade seine Stärke sehe. Die Art Musik die ich bevorzuge (alles außer Heavy Metall und Dance/Tecno/Trance) kommt durch den Verzicht auf all zu abgeblühte Bässe erst so richtig zur Geltung. Daher: Ton 5/5 Sterne Die Qualität der Kopfhörer ist ansprechend und trotz des verwendeten Plastiks nicht billig anmutend. Die einklappbaren Ohrmuscheln sind praktisch und selbige sitzen angenehm auf den Ohren. Hin und wieder lüfte ich sie mal, da auch meine Brille manchmal eine "Druckpause" brauchen. Das beutetet keineswegs, dass die Kopfhörer dort besonders drücken. Ich rede vielmehr von einer Pause nach 5-6 Stunden. Denn so lange lassen sich die Zorro HD problemlos tragen. Der Komfort kann in Verbindung mit dem wirklich angenehmen Material der Ohrmuscheln (On-Ear) als sehr gut bezeichnet werden. Daher: Qualität 4/5 Sterne Komfort: 5/5 Sterne Und abschließend natürlich die Frage nach dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Meines Erachtens ist das nahezu unschlagbar. Ich habe 75,-€ bezahlt und hätte für die (angeblichen) Referenzprodukte mindestens das Doppelte zahlen müssen. Ich bestreite ausdrücklich nicht, dass diese Produkte ebenfalls ihr Geld wert sind. Jedoch steht bei mir die Frage im Mittelpunkt, "wie viel Kopfhörer" brauche ich. Für meine Ansprüche braucht es keine teuereren, die eventuell mit HiFi-Eigenschaften aufwarte, die ich ein den mobilen Geräten niemals brauche. Meiner persönlichen Einschätzung nach dürfte diese Charakterisierung für 90% der Kopfhörer-Käufer gelten. Fazit: 5/5 Sterne
