I have searched for the ultimate wine bottle opener for decades and when I bought this upon seeing it at a friend's house, I realize I need search no further. This opener is by far the best I've seen. It is extremely heavy duty and solid. This lends to it's significant torque capability when opening bottles quickly and efficiently. Simply place it over the bottle (slides down over the next of bottle), pull down lever, pull up lever and cork pops off easily. Then you simply pull the lever down and pull it up again to eject the cork. So simple and so quick once you do it a couple times and understand the lever action. I can't imagine using anything else anymore. Trust me, you will agree. If you're considering this and hesitating... stop hesitating... you will be happy with this. I'm sure of it.

We have had 2 of the Vinturi Wine Openers in the past 3 years. The 1st one did not even last one year. A piece of gray plastic inside fell out & the cork would not release until we got a pair of needle nose pliers to assist. The manufacturer replaced it since it was under a year old. Now the replacement unit just did the exact same thing & it’s not even 2 years old. After contacting the manufacturer, they replied it’s out of warranty…. too bad so sad. It’s pretty to look at, but it won’t last & definitely not worth the money. It’s made in China, so what can you expect.

Shop no further. This is the best and easiest to use wine opener on the market. Fool proof!

I have had my Vinturi for two years now and it is still functioning. The two gifts are also still working well compared to the plethora of other wine openers like the Vinturi I have owned over the years. The foil cutter is lousy on all three but not a big issue. I will say that I have recently experienced difficultly with some corks needing an inordinate amount of pressure (strength) to insert and remove. Maybe the teflon cork screw needs to be replaced?

Initially this wine opener is absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately over time (about a year) it degrades, gets jammed and eventually stops working. This has happened to me twice so far. I am now on my third and am hoping for the best. If it keeps working the rating will go back to five stars.

This opener was purchased to replace a Screw Pull devise that finally failed after 7-8 years (10-year warranty). Still waiting for the company to repair or replace my old screws pull! 😡 This Venturi opener seems to be well made and sturdy, using steel unlike others with plastic parts on the market.

It is relatively heavy, so it may last a lifetime!

This wine cork extractor is very easy to use . It does require moderate hand strength to operate it , but that said it is a really good cork remover .
