180 gramme, Gatefold cover, 28-page-booklet, Bonus track, album download code. Review: Till is wunderbar! - This album is shockingly good! I wasn't sure what to expect, but this album definitely delivers on every level. I am a huge Rammstein fan -- especially their later/slightly more "pop" sounding songs. They are the only band that consistently puts out albums with few, if any songs, that I skip. To me, that is the mark of a solid album. Lindemannn delivers the same thing here -- maybe even slightly better, which I never imagined I'd ever find. Every song is catchy, powerful, sing-along-able, and genuinely funny in that messed up Till way. I have not found a single song I dislike on the album. My favorites are the hilariously messed-up "Fat," the song my girlfriend would take me to therapy if she heard (Praise Abort), the song I keep my car windows up when I play (Ladyboy), the hauntingly powerful "Yukon", and the Phantom of the Operaesque sounding "That's my heart." Till has said he will consider making another album if he gets enough of a positive response to this one. Till, if you read this, it doesn't get more positive than this! You killed it man. A+++ 5 Stars!!! Review: Wild River!!! - Such an amazing CD, I LOVE how its a booklet and a CD. ABSOLUTELY perfect for Lindemann fans

Incredible collaboration! Lindemann and Tagtgren make a perfect pair on this great album!
AMAZING ALBUM. I'm not really a Rammstein fan, I like his voice but the German industrial thing was never my cup of tea. However I am a huge Hypocrisy fan. I had no idea what to expect from this album but I had high hopes. This album is incredible.Lindemann's voice is awesome when sung in English and Peter Tagtgren is simply a musical genius. There are so many catchy songs that you will be humming the melodies and choruses from for days. The lyrics are down right deranged and sick... but the overall theatrics/imagery of this album combined with the simple yet great music sung by the madman Tils Lindemann makes it one of my favorite albums of 2015. I truly hope they tour and make a sequel down the line.

Faster than expected
I ordered this cd for my daughter. She is very happy with the music and felt lucky because it came earlier than expected.

Lindemann Ventures Out Solo: It's About Time!
It was sheer curiosity that got me to look into this new project by Till Lindemann. Till without any attachment to that behemoth entity known as Rammstein? What would it be like? As a follower (although, not recently) of the Behemoth Band myself, I have often wondered what Mr. Frontman would be like away from the Rammstein circus show. It was difficult to know how much of it was him as oppsed to the rest of the group (which does operate collectively). So when I received news about this first-time solo effort (actually it's a two-man team, featuring another hardcore rocker I have hitherto never heard of, Peter Taegtgren), I was compelled to look into ot further. Does the material sound Rammstein-ish? To a certain extent I would say that it does... but a lot of this is due to Lindemann's voice and how he expresses it, and some of it is his writing style. It seems that a lot of this 'dark material' is stuff floating around in his head; he digs it up, puts words to it and tries to make sense of the chaos. That said, this is NOT another Rammstein album, nor does Lindemann appear to be trying to just be an extension of that concept. This is a whole different animal - and much of this is because of Peter Taegtgren's presence and musical influence. While I wouldn't exactly call this new stuff earth-shattering, I CAN say that it's interesting because it's something different. There is a chemistry between Lindemann and Taegtgren, a communion of thought, an understanding; there's an honesty about the material that comes across after listening to it a few times. (This is not to say that listeners should take any of this literally; we should all know by now that blunt, gritty sarcasm is part of Lindemann's style). For very similar (or maybe for very different) reasons, these two came together and created this thing; and while it is a departure from what they both are better known for, it's a respectable, first-time-out venture for two rock icons that have deep roots in other bands. Whether this turns out to be a one-time fly-by-night or the first of a few more rounds can't be known - rumor has it that Mr. Lindemann will be meeting with the Behemoth Band and doing a new album with them. And don't get me wrong - that is his rightful place, that is what he built a career on and that is primarily what he is known for in the minds of most of his fans. But moving forward I hope The Behemoth will take a tip from Lindemann's collaboration with Taegtgren: Change can sometimes be good, and if you're going to do a record just to feed the corporate machine (which this LP doesn't do), it will show up when you go to present it to your audience. Hopefully this Lindemann/ Taegtgren duo will return at some point down the road... I like this new stuff, it's different and it's nice to see Till in a different environment every once in awhile. This album now has my official stamp of approval!

10/10 will drive by playground blasting Praise Abort again.
This is a solid album in all ways. Nothing here I ever skip over for lack of appeal, and I've probably listened to it 12 times in the last 2 days. Some of the song content is hella dark and twisted, but if you know who Til Lindemann is, you should have no other expectation. That said, it is not rammstein, any expectations of it being the same are begging for a degree of disappointment. It's impressive that Lindemann's English, by his own admission, isn't even that good, and the lyrics are STILL brilliant in their way. I've missed Rammstein, and this without a doubt fills in for them, in a way. Cliffs: I haven't genuinely loved an album in a long time, and I'd do things to it worthy of a song on it.

Its a Till Lindemann album so dont expect Rammstein
First off just let me start by saying this is not a Rammstein album so don't buy this album assuming that's what your getting. Secondly it's a really great album by Till Lindemann and for all you non Germany speaking fans it's in English. Almost every song on this album will make you smile. It's truthfully in a league of its own and there isn't anything out there to compare it too. I've listened to the album probably ten times now and I'm still enjoying it. It's definitely worth purchasing especially the super deluxe which comes in a really nice box and inside there a really graphic book housing the cd. I'm really surprised it's only $28 so on that note I say go buy it and enjoy

It's true that this album sounds quite a bit like Rammstein, but not to the point where the two are indistinguishable. As is typical of Till, a lot of the songs have lyrics that are as funny as they are shocking/offensive, but if you're a fan of his, this should come as no surprise. Hearing him sing in English is, in a way, quite refreshing - after all, he rarely did so with Rammstein. (I will admit that I'm not familiar enough with Tägtgren's work to comment on his parts and his influences on Lindemann's overall sound.) I, for one, look forward to seeing what else Lindemann has in store for their listeners. The super deluxe version comes with a huge ~80-page hardcover book filled with all sorts of photographs and drawings relating to the album contents - and, of course, the song lyrics are included. Some reviewers have commented that it doesn't seem like much for a super deluxe edition (which is true in a sense, considering that most deluxe editions include more stuff), but the book itself is absolutely gorgeous and I think it was worth the purchase. If you're a fan of industrial music, give this album a try, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

German industrial super-duo, Lindemann (Peter Tagtgren of Pain, Hypocrisy and Till Lindemann of Rammstein fame) are known in many circles for being controversial, provocative, and all things debaucherous. From Lindeman''s growling, sleazy voice to the beating of drums and the songs' lyrics themselves, they're not a band for the faint of heart. So keep that in mind firstly. This is Lindemann's only album to be sung entirely in English (having released a 2019 follow-up) - even Rammstein's songs are in German. But though Till abandoned his mother tongue for Skills in Pills, the lyrics are no less fervent, and no less vivid. There's some real tough ones to listen to on hear - but as always, well-written, and the tracks themselves are infectious. Not a bad song on here. The title track itself, the album's opener, packs a ferocious chorus, and this only continues with the second. 'Fat' is probably the band's worst song to date, lyric wise. It can be uncomfortable to tolerate at the best of times, but still has a barraging sound to it. 'Fish On' is another standout track, as are 'Cowboy' and 'Praise Abort' - an incredibly tongue-in-cheek closer. But the band do some really great ballads that we don't see enough of. 'Children of the Sun', 'Home Sweet Home' and 'Yukon' are all deceptively mellow, or slower, and crescendo into choruses of biblical proportions. The lyrics are poetic, cryptic, and crafted flawlessly. A testament to the enduring sound of this band, no matter the tone they're going for. Honestly, this is a fantastic debut, and a great album from start-to-finish. The high price tag for a CD is because metal CDs are always a bit more expensive, and this is a great digipack which opens to reveal an attached booklet - with lyrics for each track, and respective imagery. A really nice CD, and an even mightier album. Highly recommend. Just remember what you're getting into with Lindemann.
