Excellent quality! Shoes look and feel great! Exceeded my expectations!

General thoughts: This is a really well made brand of shoe. The stitching and leather are excellent. Please see the recommendations that this runs large and buy a whole size smaller than you normally wear (only comes in whole sizes). The color of the sole is not as bright red/blue as it appears in the picture. The red is more of a brown/orange, and the blue is closer to black, but I actually like it as it is a little more muted. My husband gets compliments on the shoes everywhere he goes.Pros: Excellent quality, beautiful design, appreciate the small details like including a cloth bag in the box for each shoe that protects for travel. Price on Amazon is at least $50 less than price direct through Moral CodeCons: Interior sole is leather but without a cushion. Front of shoe is roomy so can accommodate an insert, though not everyone wants to do that.

The color was different from was shown in the picture. Darker than advertised. But the deal breaker was the extreme stiffness of the leather, especially around the ankles, so much so that the leather was cutting into my skin just below the lateral malleolus and causing extreme pain. I braved the pain and gave the shoe a good faith effort by wearing it for 3 days in the hope that the leather would soften. That was not the case. Sadly, I must return this shoe.

Be warned that these shoes are really dark and when I first opened the box I thought they were black. It was like that dress that went around the internet where people debated the color. Same with these. In a certain light, they appear to be a really dark blue and in other light, they appear black. I was hoping for a more obvious navy blue, but I'm keeping them because they are a good quality shoe and they are quite attractive.
