The spring door works like you might expect; not a lot of resistance but a quick snap back.Since most of my car trash ends up in the cup holder anyway, and eventually spilling out of the cup holder onto the passenger floor, this is a practical solution for me. My car looks less trashy, and that definitely offsets how obnoxiously this thing protrudes from the console. LOL!I probably could have McGuyvered a regular cup that would be less of an eye sore to serve the same purpose, but since it's already here, I'm happy to keep it.

I love these! They fit perfectly in the cup holders in front car doors. No more receipts or candy wrappers all in the car!! lol

My truck stays much cleaner now that I have a place to throw the clutter away. Worth every penny!

This works in multiple cup holder sizes. It came in parts, but the shell, cover, and flap are sturdy. It looked like the packaging it was sent in was not sufficient protection. However, due to its simplicity I was able to piece it back together. The spring and bar were easy enough to put back together with the cover and flap.

Always wanted a nifty car trash can that would fit in the console of the car. Glad I found this one as it seems to do the job as its intended to do and fits in the cup holder of a car really well.

The bin fits perfectly in my car's cup holder. I use garbage bags from another car trash bin and the fit perfectly. I work out of my car, so I need a place to put all of my trash while I work, it's out of the way and will hold a nice amount of trash.
