Attractive and comprehensive beginners set for budding artists - great value
The media could not be loaded. A very comprehensive and smartly presented set of sketching and drawing tools and supplies.Inside the zipped case you get a full set of 15 extra length soft to hard graphite pencils (12B through to 5H), coloured and monochrome pastel sticks, a collection of charcoal pencils and sticks (including willow sticks and white charcoal), pastel pencils and graphite sticks.There's a set of erasers including an eraser brush pen, a simple sandpaper board, metal artist knife, metal pencil extender, pencil sharpeners and more. Finally you also get an A5 sketch pad (20 sheets) and a 50 sheet 6" x 9" spiral bound sketch book with white, black and tan coloured paper. There's even a tutorial sheet to get you started, although to achieve the photo realistic result shown you would need to be a very experienced artist. Very insightful though.The quality of the accessories, tools and supplies is generally very good. The graphite pencils are pre-sharpened and are generously long. The pastel sticks can get very dusty without using water, but aren't too soft and produce good base colours. It's nice to see a metal sharpener included as well as plastic, and the fine line liquid illuminator pen looks great on black paper. There's also a handy metal pencil extender which helps extend the life of the pencils, although it's fairly simple and has a sliding clamp rather than the more common screw fixture.Overall a briliant value, comprehensive set in a nice case and the perfect gift for any budding artist or just to explore and enjoy the relaxing and rewarding world of sketching and drawing.

Lovely set
This drawing set gives you a wide range of pencils from 5H to 12B in a sturdy, easy-to-carry case that feels like a premium product that was made to last. You get a decent amount of kit and it's nice enough to give as a gift. The paper quality isn't the best but you do get a lot for the price, so no complaints.
