At first, I thought I got a defective knockoff since these ear tips look so different from the Bose originals I'm replacing. Good thing I went back to the product website and saw how they should be attached to the Bose 2 earbuds. Wow, what a difference! Not only do the wide silicone sleeves, vs. the thin Bose originals, block out the ambient sound better, they also stay more securely in my ears. I have had difficulties with both the Bose original size 3 and the "alternate kit"'s size 4 to stay in my ear when I do jump rope. Not anymore. Moreover, the extra silicone wrapping around the heads of the earbuds make it easy to take out of the charging case, as another reviewer has noted. I had resorted to grab the top tips of the Bose original size 3 when I took them out of the case, since the uncover body is too slippery to take hold of. Well, after a few hundred times of this pulling action, the top tip of one of the ear piece had a tear from the rest of the silicone ring, making it even less secure in the ear. I serendipitously found these ear tips during my search for a replacement. :o) Better yet, I installed the unused size "Small" ones on my wife's Bose QC2 Ultra earbuds, and she liked it, too.

For some reason Amazon will not let me post a picture. These are super super cheap quality and will snap very easily. The most frustrating part is that the tips aren't even in there just the ear covers. I needed this for a trip and instead I got this garbage in the mail so I couldn't even use my earbuds on this trip. Steer clear of this company. Its a frequently returned item for a reason. I wish I would have seen that before I ordered. Get it somewhere else.

Battery lasts really long. But I don’t like the touch control to pause the music. It’s so common to touch it and accidentally it pauses the music. Hope the next version could change it to press control.

For several years, Bose was the only earbuds I found comfortable, and I was willing to pay the premium. I've had multiple pairs for each of QC20, QC 1, Soundsports, and single in-ear headset. Unfortunately, the QC 2 no longer has the StayHear wing which helped all of them stay securely in my ear. The new design with the tip and ring seems clever, but no combination of the provided sizes worked for me. They'd just fall out frequently when I yawned, chewed, drank or just moved around a bit. Was going to order the XL tips but saw these and decided to try. They make a big positive difference in comfortably keeping the earbuds from falling out of my ears. They include three sizes and are a simple solution. In the long run, I hope Bose sees that they have let some of their loyal customers down with the QC 2. Hopefully the QC Ultra will have more solid connectivity to the app. More importantly, it would be great if they would adapt the older StayHear style earbud tips to fit onto the newer models products as an option for people who need a comfortable but secure fit and are not getting that from the new format. These adapters get the job done by fitting over the Bose tips, but they are not as effective and simple to use as would be a single piece tip if someone, preferably Bose, provided them.

I love my QC-II earbuds, but I hate the little "rings" that they came with. The original parts fit very loosely and would easily rotate or come off. These little Ear Tip Covers are SO much better. The are a little tricky to put on properly, but once they're in place, they stay put! They in no way interfere with charging and they also make it easier to insert and remove the buds from the charging case by providing a better grip and a tiny "grab handle" (remember Steve Martin's "Opti-Grab" invention in "The Jerk"? Ha ha. But I digress). I do have to agree with other reviewers who complained that the sizes are not marked, and in fact they all seem to be very close to the same size, but it's not an issue for me, as I just picked out a random pair and installed them, and they work very well. It could be my imagination, but I also believe they may actually improve on the (already remarkable) noise cancelling function of the buds by physically blocking out a little more ambient noise.

Perfect fit over the QC Ultras. No instructions on how to attach them, nor any indication on which size they are. Like other reviewers, I removed the Bose tips, laid them side by side with these new ones, and eventually eyeballed which was which. That all being said, take a close look at how the Bose tips fit on the earbuds before removing them. The new ones are similar with the exception of a bit of extra material to hold them on. After about 10 minutes of getting them on correctly, WOW! These don’t slip one bit, are very comfortable (no itch), and finally makes the earbuds very enjoyable.

First, to my way of thinking, "ear tips" are at the end of the earbuds that rest at the opening of your ear canal. These are what I'd call ear hooks or whatever LOL. Anyway, the ones that come with the Bose QuietComfort Ultras are horrible. At least for my ears anyway. No combination of ear tips/ear hooks would keep them from easily falling out of my ears. Reading reviews from others it looks like I'm not alone. These work great for me! Noticeably better for my ears. I just wore them for several hours and they didn't fall out. I didn't even feel either of them move slightly and give me that feeling that they're just about to fall out. If you love the earbuds but the but can't get them to stay in your ears, I'd recommend giving these a try, especially for the price.
