Great toy for pretend play; sadly, not a real dinosaur species
My toddler wanted to play with this dino the minute he came out of the shipping box. And that was a problem, because I had to hunt down a pair of scissors - critter was firmly strapped in with plastic zipties, and I was not able to get him out with the box cutter I used to open the shipping box.But once that was overcome, I handed him over and my boy's face filled with joy. I put together the Jurassic-Park themed barricade and he got the point immediately; what followed was several minutes of crashing the barricade with dino nose, dino claw, dino stompy foot, and dino tail. His tiny fingers couldn't get the barricade back together so parental assistance was required; when not delivered, well, Indoraptor was already established as a crashing dinosaur, so he crashed everything - door, window, box, fruit, sofa, even Daddy. Often he would shake his claws menacingly first - there is a big red button, easy for even small boys to press, and mine loved to press it! But the menace is mostly implied; Indoraptor seems to be smiling and I was glad that our little boys did not seem terrified of him, the way they would have been had they seen him on screen.About that - Indoraptor isn't a real genus of dinosaur; it's made up for the movie, a sort of hybrid of two other nasty carnivores, a therapsid and a raptor if I don't mistake. My kids like realism but they didn't seem to object! I guess I sort of object: if I want to fire up their imaginations, real dinosaurs seem exciting enough.A fourth piece of plastic baffled both me and Mom; it is like a long grey plastic beam with a crumple in it. The Amazon store page identifies it as a beam that the dinosaur has crumpled, and can hold in his hand. Which is more or less the case, but it is completely superfluous, was not used in play, and on day 3 of dino action it's already missing - but not missed.Highly recommended as a toy for pretend play. You might even find yourself taking a few swipes with the claws - it's a fun toy.

Nicely made and fun.
Imaginext's Jurassic World's Indoraptor is generously sized and nicely made from high quality plastics. The dino has large and impressive looking feet and claws, glass-like eyes, an opening mouth, and a swinging tail. There is a red button on the Indoraptor's back that when pressed causes her arms to move up and down.Besides the dino there is also a plastic gate that can break in half and a plastic piece of twisted "metal". These pieces are not that impressive. They are almost disposable feeling, or like something you would find in a happy meal.My 6-year-old son enjoys playing with this dino and it has held up to his abuse well. All in all... a fun dino.

Your typical plastic toy, but should be able to take a beating
This is the type of plastic beater toy that kids love. The "scratching action" button moves the front arms, and thankfully there are no batteries required and no annoying dinosaur roar - so kids will have to roar for it themselves. It is built of heavy plastic and should take a beating. I envision all sorts of dinosaur v. toy car battles in our future. The breaking gate is somewhat interesting. The "beam" is just a chunk of plastic - I don't see that getting much playtime.Nothing special, but it's a good, solid plastic toy, and not too expensive.

Quality toy
Like most Fisher-Price Imaginenext toys, this is a quality item. I got it for my nephew, who is a little older than the target age range for this, but he still loves playing with action figures. This one, in particular, is used to attack (and, of course, be defeated by) the superheroes. The moveable mechanisms articulate well. He has plenty of these that he's had for years and I have no doubt this one will last, too. I love that these toys last a long time and keep him innocent a little while longer.

highly recommend
This has been a fun toy for my kiddo. It was easy to take out of the box and didn't see any blemishes or bad paint job. The button moves the arms up and down so they can "break" the other items. You can move the tail and open the mouth (by hand). It does not make noise. It has endured hours of playtime, so it is a very durable toy to give to your dino obsessed child.

Great imaginative play
My 4 year old nephew has enjoyed this thoroughly. It’s great for any dinosaur lover. It is interactive and provided hours of imaginative play. Well made and durable, it has taken a beaten from my nephew and still in one piece!

Dino-loving kids will love it!
My 6 year old loves Jurassic Park, dinosaurs and raptors in particular. This couldn't have been a more perfect toy for him. He has other Imaginext toys, so we already knew the quality was going to be good. It has a button on the top to make the mouth and arms move. I can't wait to give it to him because he's going to love it. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about it, except that now he's going to make me buy him others.
