what is the difference between bb cream and cc cream?

CC has color correction. I haven't ever tried it.

The 2013 formulation was actually listed as a top pick for BB Cream on the EWG's website. It's current Skin Deep rating is a 1 (best). That does surprise me since it contains phenoxyethanol (a 4 out of 10 rating) but apparently it has so much more good in comparison to many other BB Creams out there. Plus it's pretty inexpensive which helps those of us on a budget!

Would this be good also on males or does it look made up?

It does not look “made up,” but it is definitely tinted. So if a male had it on his face it would transfer to a tissue or a napkin if he were to wipe his skin. But I find this cream undetectable on my face, it just evens me out. I don’t see why it would be any different for a man’s face.
