Nice case, good torx wrenches to adjust and change the inserts. I've made 3 pens so far and rounded some square stock, all hardwood, and I'm only just starting to consider them dulling. A good buy for beginners like me.

These work well with the long handles. Good value: quality and low price. Easy to switch tips.

A very nice beginner set. I recently purchased a lathe and ordered these and I cannot believe how well they hold an edge. Being able to rotate the replacement tips provides a Being able to rotate the tips allows lots of cutting time for each blade. The replacement blades are easy to install.

Original one star review: Came in the mail the other day and I was really excited to try them until I saw one was broken. I did not want to use them as one of the chisels turned up in the mail broken and didn't want to void any warranty or try to fix it until getting confirmation that nothing could be done. These are brand new and should come in full operable factory condition, after years of heavy use I could see them splitting but not showing up broken. The shipping and storage box showed up in amazing condition though! This leads me to believe that it was broken before getting put in the wooden box. My guess is going with assembly line lack of quality control as other lower reviews have the same issue. Outside of the broken part, they do feel pretty sturdy, nice handles, and appear sharp. They come with a protective wax over the pre-installed carbide tip so that was impressive. The storage box is pretty decently built and padded so that is a plus. I sent the seller a message here on Amazon and will be glad to update this review pending their customer service. Update 9/20/22: I am holding to my word to update the original review and I just have to give them 5 stars for their customer support. Everything was seamless and ran through with absolutely no issues. The seller was amazingly fast, very understanding, and extremely polite. Customer service was top notch and the replacement tools came in just a few days. According to my husband, who they were originally for, said that they were nice and tight, nothing broken, and cuts like a hot knife through butter! Same packaging as before, very secure, no dings or issues, came in a padded box, and everything was neatly put inside. He makes pens and other things out of acrylic and has been wanting a carbide negative rake chisel set for some time. The pictures of his finished products speak for themselves on how much better and efficient these are when he is shaping acrylics on his lathe. I highly recommend them as a seller, and my husband definitely recommends the tools as he loves these chisels. I just cannot tell you how much I believe that the seller legitimately cares about customer satisfaction, and it definitely shows. Overall very satisfied!

Arrived as advertised. They work pretty well. When I went to sharpen them, there were a few chips in the cutting edges that I didn’t notice until after I removed the coating on the top face. I just replaced the cutters on them, after turning a handful of wooden and acrylic pens.

Would have given it 5 stars when I first purchased it. It cuts great, but the hex bolt comes loose when turning. It constantly needs retightening. This was not the case at first.
