As someone who has has difficulting tumultuous relationships in the past with the added stigma around dating growing up in an Indian household, this book speaks volumes. I loved every bit of it but had to take some time to digest each story one at a time. It's honest and vulnerable and the best part about it is that it's self -reflective and doesn't demean any of the romantic partners with whom things went wary. Really a good read. Would highly recommend.

This book is a commentary on modern indian romance - and many indian women will find it relatable because we’ve dated insecure dudes & peterson fanatics at some point in our lives. That said, I do wish that this book was less autobiographical as the details got quite boring after a while. It felt like reading someone’s diary & I didn’t want to read it. Perhaps an ott series would do it more justice.
