Gablemere Bird Bath with Solar Light/Bird Feeder/Planter

This was purchased as a Mother's Day present and whilst it arrived on time, several parts were missing from the box.The quality of the product is poor, with most of the parts being made from hard plastic. It really isn't suitable for a garden unless you cement it into the ground, as the slightest breeze would knock it over.It would probably be fine for small birds, but anything pigeon sized would also probably knock it over.I returned the product and got a refund as I think despite the lack of parts, the product is of poor quality and therefore a waste of money.

I am very pleased with the bird bath. Excellent packing-all items neatly packed and all complete. Following very carefully the bird bath was very easy to put together and only took half an hour. The quality feel and look is very good indeed and in particular at the low all inclusive price. Completed it really looks stylish and quite a big item that makes it an attractive feature in my front garden. Well paced-all complete--easy to erect. looks super and very very good value and well done all.

I had one of these before which lasted for years. THHIS ONE WAS AWFUL. IT DID NOT FIT TOGETHER AND I WAS TOO TIRED TO RETURN IT. After leaving bits of it lying around my garden trying to convince myself it was 'useful' my son finally collected the four or five pieces and took them to the tip for me - what a relief.Dare I try another brand. ?

Was exactly as described and expected. Shame the packaging was damaged, but the item inside was not harmed. Was for my mothers birthday and she loved it. All planted up and in the garden, she is in her 80s and she even put it together herself.

The product itself looks great once assembled - it arrived today and I have it assembled and outside.The reason why it has not got a better rating is with the instructions. These are misleading and incomplete, and would benefit from a total rewrite. Whilst it is possible to assemble the product, this is through filling in the gaps and occasionally ignoring the instructions (such as turning the on/off switch).If we are buying a self-assembly product, then it is reasonable to expect clear instructions!

Easy to assemble, looks as good as the pictures. Very light weight but I'm sure with the pins that come with the table will do the job of anchoring it down. Light on top is pretty good too. Well sealed unlike some solar lights you get in stores. Would recommend to someone who is looking for quality with a medium budget. Not perfectly made but good enough for what its for. Happy customer. Came pretty quick too!

Looks ok, cost ok, arrived ok, but can't get it to stand up ok as the screwing of the top to the middle water basin seems not to work well...even my husband with an enormous tool range couldn't fix it !!! Solar light very dim...hard to see, might need batteries very soon. I like it though the water doesn't stay long in the basin and pidgeons are too big, wobble and are scared of it as they don't seem to fit on the bottom tray or can get a grip !! smaller birds havn't quite got to grips with it yet.either The flowers I put in look ok so all is not lost,my Dad who is 93 likes it,it was his birthday present !

The bird bath arrived promptly in the post . It took a while to set it up , the instructions are not very clear . , then I discovered that the very top piece, the " rooe " , was not in the box . So the light does not have a cover , neither do the 4 screws that hold in the brace . Who checks that everything is in the box before it is dispatched to the customer ? . it would look a lot nicer with this missing piece . I don't think it is worth the bother of re-packing and returning it .
