There is Truth of Reasoning & Truth of Facts in this, The Best of all Possible Worlds
Highly readable and very approachable, true of each volume in this series. This book, as well as the entire series, is light in terms philosophical exposition but highly readable and makes a good introduction as well as a good source for historical context and personal stories. In being so thin a volume, which is at once the greatest virtue and greatest vice of this book, there is not much to review or there is simply too much be said about what is not said. I have thus presented one key take away from the book in the title to this review: There is truth of reasoning & truth of facts in this, the best of all possible worlds.

Great series. If you've ever read Candide
Great series. If you've ever read Candide, this helps understand it.

Disappointing.
This book was easy to read, and the biographical information is interesting enough, but I would have liked to hear more about Leibniz' philosophical ideas. A person looking for a nice beginner's overview of Leibniz' philosophy will not find it here. (I wish I knew where else they might.)

A comfortable tour and solution to the mind/body problem
This book is a refreshing, because while scholarly, sometimes lightly humorous introduction to Leibniz, who rationally solved the mind/body problem and was conceniwently ignored..
