Usborne Phonics Readers 12 illustrated Books Box Set Collection - Read at Home

Absolutely love Usborne books. Shipped quickly too!

These are great books for beginning readers. I used them with a kindergartner. Good practice with phonics. They are published by a British company so if you read that a certain word was mispelled in another review it is because they use British English not American English. I’m pretty sure it’s only one word so not all confusing for my child.

4 year old grandson asks to read these every morning. He’s learning to recognize the sound patterns and read phonetically. Fun to see him learn to read.

These books were recommended by my granddaughter's school so I purchased them. They arrived quickly and she has enjoyed reading Everyone of them. She is now reading better because of these and other recommended books. She is in First Grade.

Great price and decent speed for shipping. Some of the pages are sticking but so far so good. I figured it has to do with the weather. My daughter loves them. Great for homeschooling.

5 yr old loves it! It’s better than other phonics readers because the books actually have storylines rather than repetitive rhyming sentences.

I am a future speech-language pathologist and purchased these books for my little kiddos working on sound development. There's a repetitive nature to these books that focuses on certain sounds which is helpful in therapy.

When I received the product, the outer sleeve which contains the books was dirty and a bit creased. I took the books out and some covers were also a bit dirty. I cleaned them and decided maybe it was a storage issue, so whatever. Upon opening them on Christmas day and reading them to my daughter, I noticed that many pages of the books were also creased and dirty. I found crumbs inside one book and a short curly hair inside another. Pretty disgusting. Still, I wasn't going to go through the hassle of complaining until I realised that one of the books, "Toad makes a road", is missing, so there's only 11 books rather than 12 as advertised. So overall, the product appears to be second-hand and not in good enough condition to pass for new, and the product is incomplete.

Really nice and interesting books. My 4.5 year old son loves all the 12 books in the set.. Totally recommend it.

Excellent reader starter books but has some difficult words. Have great activities to complete at the end of the books to ensure your child has understood the book. Good rhyming in the books.

As an English Language Learners teacher, I use these phonics readers extensively. The children enjoy the pages that have sections that flip open! Always fun trying to find the rubber duckie, too! These readers are great for highlighting and practicing different vowel patterns.
