Children ask ; Again, again !
One of my favourite books. I was a teacher for 32 years and have read this book hundreds of times, at the children’s request. They love the repartition in the story, and enjoy joining in. They love the animal characters and have empathy for them. Found it a good teaching aid, with excellent visual illustrations, for teaching the names of wild animals, names of fruit etc. Discussed different environments and we also talked about whether it is a good / bad thing, taking other animals/ peoples belongings. Have bought many, many copies of this book , the last 4 copies went to a village school In rural Tanzania. The children love it and asked me to paint the story on the dining room walls at the boarding school. Hopefully in the future we will start a children’s library in the village, and there will be many copies of this book.

Love it
Daughter loves this book. A nice fiction book to tie in with nature study on moss. Beautiful, bright illustrations.

Not great
Abit if a strange story .. very repetitive, and nothing to do with moss except the word ...

Anansi again great story.
Can't get enough of stories of this spider man. Great for getting children's interest and also for getting the meanings of life across through story telling.
