This box grater is sturdy, is sharp enough for grating hard ginger, citrus zest and softer vegetables without mangling them and is easy to clean. I especially like the rubber coating on the bottom edges that keeps it from sliding around during use. It comes with a little container to refrigerate or freeze my excess gratings and that pops into the base of the grater for storage when not in use. It’s the best manual grater/shredder I have ever had.

I quit using pre-shredded bagged cheese after trying a homemade alfredo recipe with hand grated parmesan, and now I won't go back. I wanted something simple, without needing fancy bells & whistles, so this was a good choice for me. Pros: Fairly easy to use. Has a sturdy plastic handle, and doesn't bend or bow when grating. 4 different cut sizes to choose from. Dishwasher safe. Comes with a really cool 1 cup measuring cup that can be attached below the grater during use, then flipped upside down for storage inside the grater itself after use. Cons: Holding the grater can be a little awkward. You have to be super careful grating with the measuring cup below. It doesn't lock into place, it just sits on top so it will slip off if you bump into it. All of the cheese doesn't always fall into the measuring cup effectively (see video). Grate on a plate! Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I would buy it again & recommend.

This cheese grater works perfectly and is very easy to clean. The container that attaches to the bottom of it catches the cheese perfectly. I would highly recommend this product.

For such a low price point this is the best grader on the market with multiple grading options and a slicer. Also, the small container that's included fits firm and securely beneath the grader. So, if you're worried like I was that you'll have to wrestle with keeping the container still and balanced while you grade your cheese and vegetables. I haven't had any problems with the container remaining still while I'm grading. The plastic container is very covenant for both capturing your graded remains and storing them. This grader is harder to clean than most due to the boxed in design but nothing a steel brush and a washing machine can't handle.

Perfect! Can store cheese and other grated foods directly in the container provided. easy to clean and when your not using the container just flip in over and store it in the grader to more room. Great product so far.
