3.6V 2 in 1 Cordless Trimmer & Edger

Hope this works as good as the last one which stopped working after about four years. Very handy for doing a quick hedge cut and of course going around the lawn when cut. 2 blades included ... 1 for the hedge cutting and a smaller one for going around the lawn. Pleased with this lawn and hedge trimmer.

Love this little beast. So easy to use. Perfect for light jobs in the garden, trims hedges and plants. Can struggle with thicker branches. Battery lasts well. Would recommend.

Brilliant little tool. Inherited annoying little ball shaped euonymus shrubs when I bought my house. Which I was going to get rid of coz too time consuming & fiddly to maintain, but it’s a big garden & they help to fill borders. So bought this tool with short blade & it makes a horrendous task really easy & very quick! I haven’t used the longer blades for anything yet as small does the job I needed doing. My only gripe is that you have to push in the safety switch with one finger at the same time your pushing in the in button with another. I understand why it’s necessary to do so but it makes it a bit awkward to use. If it were not for that this tool would be 5*plus not 4 star. But do not let that comment put you off it’s a great tool.

Great little combi tool and so well priced compared to other makes. Delighted with performance and price. The only thing I'd say is the instructions as to how to interchange the blades wasn't clear.

Five stars is nowhere near enough for this gem! The grass-trimming blade is devilishly sharp (very nearly caught my fingers) so some decent gloves are highly recommended, and it does a wonderful job around the new ‘beds. I’m sure the neighbours think I’ve gone mad, as I end up trimming the whole of the newly-laid front lawn, grinning like loon as I do so. This thing is SO compact and manageable, and single-handed operation is no problem. I had a go with the hedge cutting blade yesterday, thinking the battery must surely be about to run out of charge… My arms grew too tired to continue, long before the battery showed any sign of flagging - and it has only been charged ONCE, but used I-don’t-know-how-many-times! It’s robust, simple, safe (there, I finally managed to get rid of the word ‘Safety’ underneath this box!) and easy to charge: when the red light goes out, it’s ready to go again. If only I could do the same for my arms. This thing is utterly fabulous, and you’ll wonder why you didn’t get one ages ago.

I have only use this on a small patch off grass so far to test it. Once my grass grows back I will give an honest full review. It comes assembled and doesn’t need much doing to it. It came fully charged and ready to use however you may want to charge it before using it. I like the safety feature of the button where you press the side button along with the power switch to get it trimming. It does a small while to get hang of it but it is easy to use. It trims right to the bottom of the grass without any hesitation. The blade cut side to side and does a good job. My only issue is I wish there was a container attached to collec the grass trimmings afterwards. If you think of shaving hair and you put the cut hair to one side, you have to do the same with this to make it easier to collect trimmings. Otherwise I think this is a good device to have as I got it for my elderly dad who can’t move a lawnmower anymore due to his health. He finds it easy to easy for now. I have no need of use for the hedge trimmer as we don’t have a hedge. I didn’t find it a bit hard to switch between the two blades. I will give an update on how long the charge lasts in a couple of weeks

I bought this for the hedge trimmer function, and unfortunately it arrived with the grass edger attached. This meant I got to find out how ridiculously hard it was to change blades straight away. I probably won't do it again. The mechanism is poorly designed and really hard to negotiate. I'm surprised I managed it at all. It was more by luck than judgment, and the 'instructions' didn't help. But it charged, and worked, and while it's quite flimsy it is also light and easy to manoeuvre. It did keep stopping, but started up again fine. I don't think it will last all that long, but for now it's doing what I bought it for. Though it won't manage any tougher branches, even if they're very narrow.
