you'll look like Iron Man and War Machine" (I'm showing my age ...
The media could not be loaded. This may sound corny, but I bought this harness on the instruction of my 4yr old son. I was looking for a new chesty as my current one is starting to stretch where it's constantly being adjusted to fit 4 different sized bodies. He (my son) saw this while I was browsing amazon and said "that one daddy, you'll look like Iron Man and War Machine" (I'm showing my age as I was thinking more along the lines of Predator particularly with my wearable gimbal)... LoL. How could I refuse, seeing as he loves Iron Man and all things Marvel. I did some research on shoulder harnesses/mounts and decided this make/model looked OK. There are others on the market much cheaper but they all have adjustable buckles with elastic straps whereas this model is neoprene and Velcro adjustable. I know over time this will probably be the weak link ( the Velcro ), but only time will tell. The harness fits me well at 6'1" and a 42" chest and I can get it much tighter than I can the standard chesty. We've been using this harness for over 4 weeks now and I'm pretty satisfied except for one point which I'll explain later. My GoPro's feel solid on my shoulder and being up out of the way, I can do pretty much anything in front of me without having to worry about snagging my GoPro as I would if I was wearing a chesty. It doesn't fit my 4 or 6yr old boys ( I'll stick with chesty for them) but both my wife or I can grab this, tear it open and strap it in place without any prior adjustment. As a horse rider my wife prefers this harness over the chesty. When riding she regularly swaps her crop from hand to hand and whilst fitted with chesty, she quite often caught the GoPro that was being worn. With the camera now up on her shoulder she has no issues at all and is more that happy to ride wearing a camera either in the school or out hacking.I've only given this harness 4 stars because I personally have 1 issue with it's construction, and in my opinion, quite a major one. When I purchased, I was under the impression that it was a fixed mount, but upon arrival I discovered that the mount was movable. I am able to rotate the mount through 360° and on paper that doesn't seem a bad thing. Looking at the fixed mount harness your camera seems to be off center by possibly 5°+ when mounted (not really an issue with the GoPro wide angle lens). In reality the rotating mount is great as you can position your camera to point in any direction. But do understand that there is a price to pay, you sacrifice rigidity for rotation. There is a lot of movement in the mount which you do feel when on the move. I have tried my wearable gimbal and the footage looked OK as the movement is compensated for. With the GoPro mounted directly to the harness I can feel, and even at times hear the movement ( in the form of a very light clicking/knocking). The harness itself holds the base very tight to your shoulder which, if fixed would only give you the usual body movement in you footage but the excessive movement in the mount adds more shake/judder to your footage. Nothing too bad, but as someone who uses 2 different gimbals, I notice it when a camera is mounted directly. That said, I may just mess with the mount to find the best yaw axis and then fix it in place with some Gorilla Glue with a short 90° extension so I can adjust the camera on the roll axis to compensate for the angle when it is sat on my shoulder.SO,overall I really like the harness. For me personally, I like the tight comfortable fit and if it wasn't for the excessive movement in the mount, I would give it 5 stars. Don't let my 4 star rating put you off as this is just my opinion and just so you know, I'm keeping mine as I'm sure it'll help produce some great footage of our family antics.

Looks to be good quality so will hopefully last
Purchased this so that the family could use our Go Pro when surfing.Looks to be good quality so will hopefully last, fit seems comfortable, only gripe is that it isn't adjustable enough to fit the smaller members of the family (me included - adult female) without the end of the velcro strap flapping about.

8K Xtreme Neoprene Harness Chest mount for Go Pro and Sports Cams
The media could not be loaded. Useful chest mount which allows you to record hands-free.I’ve used this on a number of Sports Cams and it works perfectly. The mount on the harness is a standard Go Pro Mount which is pretty much a universal mount for many sports cams with cases.Mounting the camera is a simple process, just slot it into place and screw in. because of the way the plastic on the mount is angled. The camera faces directly ahead when pulled all the way back and will stay at that position. This allows you to record footage parallel at chest height. You’ll pretty much see on camera what you are seeing with your own eyes, as long as your body is facing in the same direction. The harness is made of neoprene. It’s very lightweight, comfortable and has the ability to stretch a little bit, meaning it won’t restrict your movements. It’s stitched together strongly and it feels it will last a long time through wear and tear. It has two Velcro straps which you can pull apart and adjust to your preference. One strap is on the shoulder, the other around your chest.I’ve put it through its paces by biking around with this on and it works exactly as described and stays in place. It’s also very easy to take on and off, the advantage being that you don’t have to unclip a load of harnesses. You can remove it via the Velcro or pull it off over your head.'This product was purchased with a coupon and is my own impartial and honest opinions based on my own personal usage of this product. Thank you for taking the time for reading and viewing my pictures and video. I hope you found my review useful and appreciate your feedback.
