Legrand On-Q WP3412WH 12 Port Keystone Two Gang Wall Plate, Supports Keystone Insert, Screw-In Plastic, White

I was looking to expand a 1-gang plate I had to a 2-gang plate in the interest of adding more Cat 6 jacks, and despite liking the appearance of Decora-sized inserts, they either come with so few keystone openings that you can't fit very much (often 3 per gang) or have some so close together that not all are usable (most 4+-port plates). Mysteriously, even some that *don't* use these inserts still have the keystone openings placed as if they did, creating the same problem.Enter this plate: 12 keystone jacks (a good number, yay!) *and* more or less evenly spaced. Unlike some other plates, I had no problem inserting multiple Cat 6 jacks side-by-side in either direction (I used a couple different styles because I used ones from a previous installation and installed several new ones as part of this; none had problems). I put blank keystones in a few to leave room for future expansion, and I also added an HDMI keystone for a different purpose. All work well and fit nicely!If i had one complaint, it would be the screws--they're visible and Philips head, arguably more unsightly than the traditional flathead screws on most plates. (I'd prefer "screwless" plates if I could, but most of those either require the Decora inserts with whatever plates you want and are subject to the aforementioned problem, or didn't look much better with visible screw covers and some reviews mentioning that they didn't fit the low-voltage bracket I planned to use.)These might get expensive if you need a lot, but I only needed one for a specific, heavy-use area. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for the same! If you need fewer ports, most 1-gang solutions are cheaper, and if you have aesthetic concerns, other styles are available, but not many that make all ports equally usable like this.

The reason I bought this was the color shown in the listing is a perfect match for the paneling in my home. However, the actual color of what I received is much, much lighter. I keeping this since I can paint it to a better color but someone needs to correct the illustration to show the correct color.

I LOVE the Legrand - On-Q products. I have tried several other brands, and they NEVER live up to the standard set by Legrand. I have wasted more money than I care to remember on "cheaper" products that ended up just wasting my money when I had to trash them and buy the Legrand products anyway. Do yourself a favor, start with Legrand and save time, money, and headaches.

I purchased this for the centralization of all my networking devices and for a double gang provides adequate ports for all the devices and cleans up the installation allowing routing and consolidation of wiring, cabling to allow a clean install.

This arrived damaged but seller immediately sent out a new one free of charge.

I have used many keystone plates and i always come back to using name brand plates. they are strong, durable and don't break when installing them nor do they fail over time.

This is just as expected. Keystone jacks fit easily if you go top to bottom. I found that using a 45* hdmi jack works best with this unit.Overall very easy to use and install.I will buy again.
