I was a little concerned that this would look cheap. If you had the shade in your hands it does look cheaper than a lot of other shades. It comes flat and you have to wrap it into a circle. BUT, move the seam to the back and step back a foot or two and you will never know. I have it in the corner behind our recliner and it's really beautiful. The remote is FANTASTIC to have. It has a dimmer which I use all the time. When see it as I walk in the room it looks like it could be over $100.

Overall, I really like the look of this lamp. The curved arm that holds the shade adds a nice detail look, and suits the rest of the decor in my room.Functionally, the ability to switch up color and brightness is great. I prefer a warmer light (3000K), and like to turn the brightness down as I get near bedtime. Another review said that the lights didn't retain the last setting you had - In my experience, they always came back on the way I had last had them.However, the remote control model has issues. I placed these lights on either of my bed. When I got them, I wasn't sure if I could use one remote, or if I was going to have to use a separate remote for each.It turns out that this is an infrared remote. That means that a light beam goes to the lignt and the light executes a command, like "change on/off" or "brighter". Most of the time, that means that if I use the remote it will work on both lights. Great! I thought I was all set. But about 10% of the time, I'm not positioned right , and the light doesn't bounce to both lamps. So one will go off and one will stay on.I try to work around this by pointing the remote at the ceiling, and that sort of works, as the light bounces towards both.I think I will replace the vendor supplied light bulbs with "smart" bulbs and tie these lights into my home automation. That's disappointing that it's an additional expense to get what I wanted: lights on either side of the bed.

This lamp is used as a bedroom reading lamp. It doesn't take a lot of foot space so it's not in the way for getting in and out of bed. It provides enough lighting to read or use a laptop and best of all the remote makes it easy to turn on or off. It was easy to assemble, and the shade is attractive.

So far so good we love that we can turn it low to a warm setting. Only thing is the shade looks a bit cheap and has some fuzz you have to cut off and the clips in the inside can be seen which is not the best. Other than that the functions on it are great and gives the lighting we want

I like the lamp. It's perfect. The sleek black styling and the fabric shade go well in my living room.
