NO BOX KNIFE NEEDED
Another great gift for husband, My husband is a DIY guy, he uses a lot of wire, so he needed a safe (no box cutter) way to strip the scrap wire to remove the plastic coating. This machine does just that, its fast and easy. I can even do it. GREAT machine at a GREAT price.

Great power stripper
My son is an apprentice electrician and regularly is put on cleanup duty at work. He brings home 1-2 buckets of scrap wire a week and uses this to strip it. This stripper seems to be holding up well and continues to do a great job. It takes a little practice to figure out how to fine tune it but once you got it down it’s a breeze. It sure beats using pliers or those cheesy strippers.

It works better than expected
Happy with the quality for the cost. Wire guide hits cutting wheel when snugged up, used a couple washers to space it away to solve problem. Blade adjustment is simple, and wheel seems to grab the wire firmly. Speed might be a little fast for larger wire , variable speed knob would be handy.

Works great, saves so much time
Working very well so far. Have stripped almost a 100lbs of wire without issue. Easy to use, not too hard to adjust

A work horse!
I stripped old wire and old cable wire rather quickly. The cable wire I had to do twice one for outer cover the again for the metal shield. Don’t use the gloves that come with it, they are cloth. Suggestion get a good pair of close fitting work gloves. Great value for the money and scrap wire stripping. It will get used a lot.

Smooth operating, very quiet. takes just a few minutes to set up. easy to adjust and once dialed in for your specific gauge wire it will perform like a charm.

Doesn’t Work On All Types Of Wire
We purchased this product to strip a variety of copper wire. It only seems to work on stranded wire, not solid wire. So, for us, it was a waste of money. Do not recommend.
