I was a little dubious about these at first but gave it the benefit of the doubt. These are hands down a great purchase, definately worth the money. Strong, sturdy and lightweight! Great product

Stand is fine, but it's slightly larger than the dimensions listed. It folds up to about 104cm, not 100cm. This was an issue for me as it was too big for my bag.

I'm using this to support a boom arm with studio flash head, beauty dish and counterweight. The air-damped column means nothing comes crashing down when you want to adjust the height. Very sturdy.

It seems quite sturdy, steady and useful though I've only used it at home and the collars feel like some kind of synthetic like plastic or pc, (not sure of that). The main thing is that the spring cushioning does not prevent the pole hitting the hard bottom if you let go of it while unfastening the knob to lower your light. The spring just makes it bounce up again immediately - and I only had a 150gr pocket light with a paper china ball on it. So don't open the knob if you're not holding on to the stand co's the spring won't save your light from the impact if it's got some weight.

Great quality for the price, previous stands have worn out threads due to cheap materials but this has brass threads. Very pleased with quality

Seriously an excellent stand! Super sturdy, even with a 60' umbrella and a heavy strobe! No wobbles and the build quality is great. Highly recommend for a stand you can depend on!

Every one of the 3 stands I got have now broken....so much for heavy duty. AVOID

It is solid but not 3 meters as specified. With the legs extended to a stable posisition (and allowing placing a sandbox for added stability) it reaches 2,4 meters in heigh.
