Does not work
After spending $800 to buy the inline heat cable and have it installed by a master plumber, it does not work as promised. While the cable is warm, my pipes still freeze at 11 degrees F. In order to provide assistance, MAXKOSKO want a video of the installation - which, of course, I do not have. After asking me the same questions at least 8 times over two weeks and treating me like I am stupid, they finally gave me a refund, but I am still out the cost of the plumber. Expensive and frustrating experience.

Great customer service!
I had an issue with water leak through the heat cable. Lily, in customer service, was very professional and quick to respond. She expidited a replacement and followed up to make sure that all went well with the new cable. The replacement worked perfectly This product is the answer in keeping an under ground water pipe from the house to a working garage from freezing.

Works great and as advertised
I used this for a small pvc pipe that exits my house into the ground that is there to get rid of the water softener discharge after it does its thing at 2am. That pipe for some reason, and at some point freezes. Only when it is super cold out. Causing the discharge water to back up into the house. This heater kept the pipe warm to the touch and thawed all winter long. A freaking miracle and first winter the pipe didn’t freeze and back up into the house. Highly recommend. Takes a long time to ship and was a hefty shipping fee but well worth it.

Fire danger! Stopped working.
I ran this on a smartphone which turns it on and off with IFTT when the outside temp is below 20F. It has not ran much due to a warm winter. Item stopped working after a month and the gfci buttons don't work. The gfci unit is extremely warm and hard to handle. I had to unplug it. I will have to remove it when I can take my well out of service.

Great product, quarter the price of "other" systems
I used this internal heat trace line to prevent freezing on a secondary water line leaving my shop to an automatic cattle waterer. In Northern Alberta, you can count on 6 feet of ground frost on a long, cold winter. To be safe, I installed 30' of internal heat trace line where this water line leaves the concrete footing of the shop. The water line is burried approximately 10ft down via directional drill but we had to bring it closer to surface to enter the footing of the shop.Very easy install with this kit if you have some basic plumbing skills. I've installed other internal heat trace systems from a Canadian based company (won't mention names). This one is on par for quality and about a quarter the price. Time will tell about the durability.

Great product, amazing value
Ive benbloooing for years for an in-pipe heating line and the only available products were either very poor quality, with more than double the price, or good quality product with more than 5X the price. Finally there is a product in Canada that does the job at a very reasonable price. This is such an important product for anyone who has underground piping that has the tendency to freeze and doesn’t want to pay $600 to $1500 to deal with it. Great value, Highly recommended

BROKE AT BEGINING
It was a big job to put it in the pipe. As soon as we put it on, the water started flowing through where we plug the wire. It was dangerous to get a shock and ended up no longer working. I didn't have enough money to pay a man to remove it. And I wasn't capable of it. After that, I had no water from December to May. 6 months no water in the house. It was a very hard winter for me. To be reimbursed I had to send back the cable which I was not able to remove because it froze in the pipe with the water froze. Sad and tire , try to live with no wather for 6 months. I think a refund would be the minimum please

Construction robuste
Utilisé dans un conduit de drainage d'une pompe de puisard. Très satisfait. Répond à mes attentes. En service l'hiver prochain.
