Purchased 3 boxes £6.74 (per item for 4m). I opted for a branded version in the hope that it would be more superior to the more cost-effective choices out there. The picture says it all. Currently looking into making my own spray to naturally repel these little blighters from my crop of veg.

RUBBISH!!! I have 2 adopted stray cats that live in cat enclosures outside and can't leave food out overnight due to slugs, so thought I would give the copper tape a go, so stuck it all the way round the upper part of both food bowls and a water bowl and made sure they were'nt touching the walls. Put the food out at 4pm and just went out to check they were ok and there were slugs in both food bowls and on the top of the water bowl. What a total disappointment and waste of money!!

The media could not be loaded.  Simply doesn’t work. I made several tests. All slugs ignored it and walked on it. Decided to put my hosta out of the greenhouse for the night, with the product around the pot, and found it the next day with holes on leaves so made videos while testing it. Waste of money and time using the product. The tape material is so think and more paper like that the actual metal. Maybe the real metal will work but this tape is a joke. Absolutely disappointed. Doff, shame on you!!

Quite frankly, I didn't think this product would work but decided to give it a try anyway. However I was completely wrong, it is amazing! I had a problem with slugs entering through an air brick, through a gap in the floorboards and then into the kitchen. With this tape I made a frame, two thicknesses wide, all around the air brick. That was a year ago now and so far no slugs!

Well I don’t know if we have slugs and snails that don’t mind a bit of pain, but this hasn’t had the desired effect at all. Although my dahlias still have their flowers, they are missing their leaves. Had high hopes for this tape but alas the pesky critters have still had a feast!

Bought this slug tape to prevent slugs getting onto cat bowl which is in the sun room. Put tape all around, which was easy, next day no slugs day after in the evening I noticed a few slugs near the bowl. I can’t understand how they were still getting there! Weather turned colder so not such a problem. So not totally happy. Sorry. Would recommend trying though as reasonably priced.

Works a treat and has stopped the slugs dining out on my plants. Definitely wear gloves or be careful putting it on as I sliced my finger, it is very sharp even on the straight edge and gives a nasty paper cut.

These seem to do a great job, wrapped around each leg of a raised planter, needed 2 to do 6 legs 4”x4”. I wrapped it with 1/2 overlap, but i may have gone overboard as slugs love eating my produce. So far so good had in place for 1 season and little to no slugs. The tape does split if you are rough with it. Happy growing!
