Used for driveway gates

These are almost identical to the Topens gate fobs, but there is no battery hatch and their range seems to be inferior to the original fobs. They will work up to about 50 feet with line of sight. If the fob is in your vehicle it usually needs to “see” the receiver, in other words, if it’s hanging on your keys while in the ignition, and usually won’t open/close the gate unless it’s pointed through the windshield. This is a bit annoying, but if clipped to the vehicle’s visor, it works. Still, they cost less than the Topens fobs, so probably worth the savings.

We have a topens ek365 swing gate that these remotes work without issue on. They work great, have a much further range than expected, and we have yet to have an issue with them. Programming was a breeze however you have to press the learn button on the motherboard of the opener rather than cloning it to an original remote which really isnt that difficult at all. I highly suggest these remotes!

Programs easily, however you have to press 3 to4 times to open gate. Sometimes it does not open. When compared to remotes that come from manufacturer it is really performs poorly. The one from manufacturer press once and can be easily more than 100ft. I can open my gate 3 houses down the street. This one barely works. Very inconsistent.
