Night by Night, a bright light of British rock.
Excellent main stream rock release that should capture the younger followers and hopefully more besides. It has been a long time coming but finally Night by Night have arrived.I have been a big fan of Henry Rundell for many years, since his outstanding vocals with Voodoo Six.Henry then should have cemented his position at the head of the rock world with Goddass, also an excellent band, that sadly imploded after being let down by their agent.Listen to the Voodoo Six release 'First Hit For Free' and i'm sure you will be blown away.I also managed to obtain a copy of the Goddass unreleased cd and that too is phenominal.Night by night are top notch and have produced a cd that cant fail but attract a great deal of interest. The release is full of catchy riffs and excellent lyrics but in some way seems driven by material that is reaching out to the younger rock listener. The band cant be blamed for trying to appeal to the younger listener, as survival is all important and there are excellent tracks that appeal to the older listener also.Ben Christo proves to be an excellent lyricist and lead guitarist and Johnny Thornton, Tom Daniel and Damien Diablo make up an excellent band but Henry Rundell is the cream of the crop.Already looking forward to the next release and more live dates, hopefully supporting or leading a concert or two with the likes of Europe, Foreigner or any respected band that will provide Night by Night with the profile that they deserve.Rock on and stay heavy.Enjoy.

FANTASTIC DEBUT!
Right...This is how it normally goes. Get Classic Rock magazine monthly and always check their melodic rock album reviews. ( I also buy AOR magazine a must for any AOR fans...) This album has been championed by none other than Rick "Sav" Savage of Def Leppard fame and you can see why.The 10 songs you get here are full of catchy choruses and nice guitar solos.I'm a massive Leppard fan so this did not disappoint. Looking forward to some live gigs...and a second album...this band could be huge!STOP PRESS.....STOP PRESS....Oh my god was lucky enough to have seen this band on a FOUR yes four band line-up at The Borderline in London Soho last night for the princely sum of 10 pounds!! They headlined a bill which included States of Panic and Damn Dice..both rather good! As for Night By Night..they did not disappoint...even if the sound quality was a bit ropey. I'm sure it was not THEIR fault. They raced through pretty much the whole album...yep I bought a T-shirt...even though at one point they were distributing them to the much appreciating audience! Oh yeah finished with a blistering performance of Aerosmith's Love in an Elevator....wow!!Just got my breath back...looking forward to seeing this band again soon. Shift work kinda sucks though..had to be up at the crack of dawn again today!Still they were really worth it!Rock on lads!
