This worked great and allowed us to control our Zoom LiveTrak L-20 mixer with an iPad. It works great. It is plug and play. You plug it into the mixer and then open the app on the iPad and the invitation to connect opens immediately. We have used it a few times and it has always connected easily. It allows my sound man to sit walk around and hear the sound and make adjustments as needed while still leaving the mixer board on the stage so that a "snake" is not needed. Overall, I am pleased with the Zoom mixer and this wireless dongle. I only wish that they would make the app for Android as well as iPad.

It works well and clicks into place. I just wish it didn't stick out and had some sort of rubber gasket to prevent dust and stuff from getting into my recorder since I hate the way dust looks behind a screen. I think for $50 they could have at least provided some sort of storage case too but it didn't come with one and the contacts on this thing are really exposed. Not a big deal but if a standard feature is sold separately in the form of an attachment I think it could have been improved just a little bit. This was a very strange choice from Zoom. Just make this built into the device like pretty much everything else, including the Zoom F8n Pro. This is a great device but is another thing to keep track of and increases the chances of dust and other debris getting into the recorder. Usually Zoom products make sense but this thing was definitely a strange way of doing things. It works perfectly though which is the only reason why it gets the four star rating.

El adaptador muy bueno, lo puse en la consola, y mi iPad conectó de una. En la app, me gustaría poder seleccionar las canciones y las carpetas, porque solo se puede utilizar una carpeta desde el iPad, y solo cambiar de canciones con las flechas de adelante y atrás

This is a must if you have an H4essential as long as you have an iPhone, had to get an old one from my wife's junk drawer. I'm an android guy and there's no app for my kind.

Used once in line of site and it worked. Used again in club with it upstairs connected to soundboard, lost signal twice and each time I had to go upstairs and mess with the tiny menu on the f3. Not worth it.
