These lights work well and are easy to install. I'm using my car's extra USB jack to power this and the power needs are low enough for that to work. (A lighter USB charging adapter is an alternative). Spending a minute to figure out how to route the power was the only thing between getting started and having everything working. The remote is useful but the app is quite easy to set up and offers even more control. For use while driving, the remote is a little more suitable. It is nice to have different ways of controlling the lights. The music and changing modes are cool. Just make sure you don't set something up that will distract you, I save the wildest modes for when parked.The app is the same one used by some other modo lighting products so it may be familiar to you (it was to me). This is really a nice car upgrade and might be worth considering as a car gift for a young person who just got a car and is looking for ways to make it "cool."Seems like a good value at the listed price considering the app and remote.

I love the look of these. They are very easy to control from the app, and they have been working for me reliably for a few months now.

It didn’t come with a remote😡

My cigar socket does shut off with the key otherwise I would have to unplug them everytime. The app allows multiple scenes, colors and moods. Easy to install where you want them.

So these lights add a nice touch to the interior of the vehicle. They are very bright but not bright enough to distract you while driving, at night I like to switch it to blue to help with the glare from other cars. Plenty of wire to put them pretty much anywhere you want, I wired in a usb plug under my dash so the wires are hidden completely but you dont have to do it that way I wanted a clean look tho. The only downside is you need to have the remote to control the lights as the box is just an on/off switch and the app is questionable at best if its connected or not.

The lights are decently bright and the dithered covers help spread the light more indirectly as hoped.I'm using these for some ambient lighting for my ebike at night for visibility and to add to my Tron inspired theme I'm going for. The only complaint is the main control box with the QR code and plug has a big hole as if it were for the 3.5 jack, but is just an empty unoccupied hole essentially allowing water in. Size of your thumb, Has 3 tiny LEDs inside, Not as bright but gives good light. Everything can only be controlled by the APP, so if you don't want to install an app, then this is not for you. Without the app, you cannot control this.The app is called Lotus Lantern in Android.
