I'll never go back to a round whisk!
Like these so much I'm giving them as gifts. Much better design than a round whisk. Because, 1. they're flat so there's not as much trouble throwing things out of a bowl while whisking; 2. The coils are close together so they mix things faster and more thoroughly; 3. Again, because they're flat things (batter, eggs, etc) can be scraped out of a bowl more efficiently. It's also nice that this is a "2 for" deal at a great price.

Surprised!
No matter which implements I use to hand-beat eggs (I dislike using a blender, or blender-type apparatus, which overwhips them, unpleasantly affecting their texture, [too airy and not enough bite, imo]) or how vigorously, there are always streaks of albumen left before I pour them into a pan to scramble...until now. I saw this beater on a British YouTube cooking channel (it wasn't a solicitation for the product, but rather a recipe demonstration) was intrigued by it, and came to Amazon to order it. Doesn't take much effort to beat these eggs into submission, lol, (no streaks of albumen left); I don't understand the physics, but it is obviously its design that sets it apart.

Love it as an avocado masher
This works so well for mixing dressing but surprisingly I love using it to smash avocado. This tool makes my avocado toast or guacamole come together easy.

Great for whipping liquid
Bought these on a recommendation from my cooking class classmates. They work better than regular beaters when mixing sticky liquid since it doesn’t get stuck in the middle. They are kind of thin, though, so I wouldn’t use them for whipping anything solid or super thick.

It was perfect after I modified it
I had a whisk for years from the home cooking party that was just a bit smaller than this one. The only difference was the whisk sat flat in the pan and it used it daily for sauces, soups, gravies. When it was lost in a move, the home Chef company no longer carried it. I was so excited finding these, but they were awkward using it in a pot because of the angle. I KNOW they are advertised for eggs, but, when you make the bend a 90 degree angle, so the whisk sit flat, you increase the whipping strength AND makes a perfect pan whisk that reaches the edge of the pan. I used a needle nose pliers and it bent beautifully. If you find you don't care for it when whipping eggs, give it a bend and increase its' usefulness.
