My wild bettas love this food.
I have wild caught and tank-raised Betta macrostoma and B. rubra. Both eat these pellets. The pellets float a long time, which is awesome. The fish are breeding and doing well. I only wish there was a smaller version for my juvies! I think the pellets are too big for bubble nesters too.

Reliable
This is the best beta food. I've tried several. Not too small, floats to the edge and stays afloat. My dark blue boy looks like he's wearing a gown. His fins are so big. Would recommend.

Betta loves it
My veiltail betta loves this food. They do contain copper so they are super bad to feed if you have snails/shrimp. Tried to stop using them but my Betta will only eat this and live food so... I make sure to only feed what he can eat in a few minutes. The tertas try to steal them from him, it's fun to watch.

NOT micro - too big for my betta to swallow!
I bought these for the bettamatic automatic feeder because this is the food the feeder is compatible with. These are too big for my adult betta to swallow. He tried a couples times and now will not touch them. Yes, they do float very well, but that is not useful if your betta can't eat them, and if you break the pellets into smaller pieces, they sink quickly.

Too big
I have tried giving these to my beta fish multiple times and he won’t even touch them. I think they are too big. They look larger than his mouth so I doubt he could fit them even softened. Also, after leaving a few in the tank for him to try and eat, they have gotten soft and have grown around them. I’m not sure if it is mold or what exactly it is. I haven’t decided if I’m going to return the food or try again with him. But so far I’m unhappy with the results.

Great food!
My Fish loves this food. Some pieces need to be broken in 2 bc of size but for the most part it is great.
