This was a perfect replacement for my lost wacom tablet pen. It paired perfectly with the tablet. The pressure sensitivity is great in my hand and works great for my digital drawing and editing needs. It comes with enough extra nibs to last a long time! It comes with a handy tool to make changing the nibs a breeze. The pen fits in my hand comfortable and hand a good light weight to prevent fatigue. Its an excellent value as far as replacement goes. My original stylus for my remarkable 2 broke when the eraser head cracked off. I bought this to try before spending way more money on an original. It works just as good as the remarkable stylus. Feel is exactly the same.

I ordered this pen as a replacement for a Remarkable 2 pad pen. The first thing I noticed was the weight of the pen, it’s very light and doesn’t have the weight and feel of the original which I liked. More importantly though is that the pad does not respond when the tip touches the pad surface. I noticed I had to press harder than I would want to constantly and that it does not have near the sensitivity I appreciated with the original. Let me be clear, it does work when pressure is applied, but if you have ever used the original you would be disappointed. Update: The seller reached out to offer an alternate version of this stylus pen as a replacement option which I accepted as a solution. The new pen solved all my previous concerns. The pen feels identical in weight, and the pressure sensitivity is the same. It also writes exactly the same as the original. I had the option to switch back and forth between an original Remarkabke pen and this new version and was impressed. The seller did advise that the pen shaft is not as magnetic as a Remarkable pen and they are correct. I use the sleeve to store the pen so this was not a deal breaker. The pen is slightly smaller in diameter and the sleeve I use is oversized and fits the original well. I will have to use the elastic loop to ensure the pen does not slip out. The eraser on the original Remarkable pen is very precise and requires the pen eraser end to actually touch the pad. I noticed with this pen that when I get within an 1/8th of an inch or 2 quarters stacked, that it erases written content. I found that if I am deliberate with my placement and don’t hesitate with getting the pen to touch the surface it won’t erase errantly. Once on the surface the precision I can erase with is the same. I typically use the writing tip erase feature for precision and the back end for larger areas I’m erasing. I am changing the review from a 2 to a 4 because my experience with the seller was impressive and the pen is good value for the price. I’m not giving it a 5 because the erasure sensitivity is not the same and this is marketed as a replacement for the Remarkable one. If you are looking for an exact replica in every way be aware of the differences and weigh how important they are. For me I can accept the differences because the pen writes and feels the same which was what was most important for me.

Due to the fact that I mostly use my Remarkable 2 for taking notes, drawing, and sometimes marking up PDFs, it is very crucial for my workflow to have a pen that is both responsive and comfortable. It has a firm weight that makes it pleasant to handle for extended periods of time, and it has a robust construction that gives it a good feel. The magnetic function is a significant advantage; just like the first stylus, it can be attached to the side of my Remarkable 2 in a secure manner, which eliminates the possibility of my losing it. Because of this one feature alone, it gave the impression of being a high-quality replacement that could easily compete with the original. When I was writing or painting, I was able to feel the difference in how it reacted to different amounts of pressure. It is particularly beneficial when I am drawing or taking detailed notes since the stylus retains my strokes nicely, which makes it simple to transition between fine and thick lines in a fluid manner. I believe that the pressure sensitivity function works as it was stated, and for the most part, it feels exactly as nice as the original Remarkable 2 pen did.

Feels like the original, writes well.. when it works. Worked for about 2 days, then started making random marks on the page. I changed out the stylus and it did the same, had to return it.

UPDATE: The seller/company reached out to me to rectify the situation, they replaced my original and sent me the upgraded version of the pen. I’ve used it for almost a week now without issue, it’s smooth feels good in the hand and responsive. I will recommend this pen based on customer service alone. If you happen to have an issue they will do right by you. 4 stars because I don’t think a week is a good judge of longevity. Will update if I have any further issues. Used the pen for a single shift, worked flawlessly for about 6 hours. After that it just would not write. I thought maybe the tip had got pushed too far so I swapped the nibs, that also didn’t work. I can get it to write with excessive force but it’s not smooth, it will skip when writing. It’s a bummer spending $70 to get 6 hours of work out of what I thought would have been a decent ReMarkable pen replacement.

Cheaper and as good as the remarkable original

It works perfectly, and the magnet is like the original.

Very Bad even if you change the nip it will not work correctly you have to push hard to register anything! plus the magnet is off it would flow to stick on top of screen which is dangerous for the screen!! Could harm the device ( Remarkable 2 )

The pen is writing fine and compatible for both my electronic devices
