Kept me warm and dry!
It's so good, someone may try to steal it! Don't leave it in your tent in Arizona!

This is exactly as described. . . 2 Sleeping bags (one 40* and one 20*) with an included baffle that can link the two of them together for extra warmth. I have used each one separately and they are both great. I have yet to use them together as it doesn't really get cold enough where I am to justify it. The 20* bag is plenty warm and I usually need to unzip from the foot based zipper so as not to overheat. I have not put the bags through any sort of torture test, but they are completely fine under normal use. I have not had any of the issues that the other reviewer claims. I use them tent camping with no issues. The center zip takes a little getting used to if you have been using side zip bags, but I actually prefer it for venting (see above) when unzipping from the feet towards the head. I feel like I am able to get more airflow to cool my feet as opposed to just getting air from the side. Overall, I 100% recommend this bag system. Super tough, super warm, and it's great to have a warm weather bag and a colder bag as well.

One of my favorite purchases for my bug out bag
One of my favorite purchases for my bug out bag. This sleeping bag is perfect as the zipper is down the top verses on the side like most sleeping bags. This makes for a perfect sleep with a rifle for a fast response on target. Will blend in with the sand while you sleep. A highlight on this product is that most Snugpak items are made in china that are distributed to the United States; this was made in the UK which was a great surprise when it arrived!

Very warm sleep system, ripped after very light use indoors, not due to contact with sharp objects. Did not meet my expectations, and not at all worth the price. Do not get this item if you expect to use it in a field environment.

Loved it
Really warm synthetic sleeping bags in sub zero temperatures with both bags. The bafel insert is real nice to connect the two bag together and make one big sleeping bag, takes a little extra time to set up but makes it so much easier getting in and out and overall less problems. You can sleep with just one or both of you can make one big one, you decide.

Best night of sleep in the cold
Love this bag! I stayed extremely warm, the insulation is good enough that the bottom of the bag doesn't lose warmth at all and it is very, very comfortable. This is one of those buy once, cry once purchases.

Probably the best bag you can buy
This bag has saved my bunny's more then once. The complete sleep system is worth every penny. Even without a shelter it has kept me worm and dry

This is a great piece of equipment. As individual bags they have a great quality in there manufacture and in their temperature range for use. When combined they cover that extreme temperature that may only be experienced rarely for most but it does this without buying a specific bag. Those who really feel the cold may use the combined a bit more though! I have used snugpak for many years and have always found them easy to use and reliable with lots of use in them. Great piece of kit.

This is my third and best sleeping bag I’ve tried in the last seven months, the other two were down (one was Hyke and byke- just poorly made and the other was Patagonia which was good until I used it for weeks in the wet Scottish summer and it couldn’t dry out and the down clumped together). So I have used the SF2 continuously since it arrived (maybe 5+ weeks) and it is superb. It copes with the near continuous wet summer (now camping on Shetland), is perfectly comfortably warm without being too warm, it’s roomy (I’m 185cm long), the zip is good. I use it in conjunction with a sea to summit sleeping bag liner. It could be a little smaller when bagged up but I’m prepared to accept that for a great quality bag at a good price, a bag I am finally very happy with and have faith in to keep me warm and comfortable in most conditions (of course I would also buy the SF1 to combine with it if I was camping in major sub zero conditions, but for all foreseeable circumstances this will do me very wel).

Nice but you do need a liner and a bivi bag to make a good system the special forces 1 bag once removed from its stuff sack will not go back in and the overall stuff bag is too small for all the parts you will need to find an overall stuff sack to put all the pieced in
