I really like this frosted glass plate. I’ve been into making my own watercolors for a few years now and I’m getting more serious. Time to order proper equipment. This frosted 12x12 glass plate is perfect for my small batches. It’s easy to clean between different pigment colors. It’s also a great price and shipping was fast.

Ultra flat. Frosted formfriction and tough. This high quality glass Mulling plate is worth the money and will last a moderate user a very long time.

I I love this item. It's well made and sturdy. It has a smooth side and a very slightly rough side. The 12" x 12" is a perfect size. The only reason I gave this one star is because it had chip on one corner, with a jagged edge. Edit: I was able to return the damaged item, and received a replacement.

this is the second plate i’ve owned and i prefer this one. the first one i got off etsy and it’s fine, but kind of small and only part of it is frosted. i like that this is thicker and solid, i don’t feel like i’m going to break it. a good price for a beginner

While it works with a glass muller, the glass has minimal design affordance for stated purpose. a. its too small, hard to keep paint in the working area. b, its too slippy on most surfaces. Needs a stabilizing mount. Otherwise its ok.

Would not recommend. This plate shattered into numerous jagged pieces the second time I used it for grinding pigment. It was used properly, stored carefully, and handled gently, yet is just exploded into shards while I was mulling. The pieces were irregularly sized and conchoidally fractured, leading me to believe this item was not tempered properly and the overall quality was low.
